Visited Peak Footwear Holmfirth today for a new pair of boots to do the CtoC over Easter. I had a few different boots in mind and tried a pair on in my usual boot size and they didn’t feel quite right. Had my feet measured to find I take a bigger size than I thought and I needed arch supporting insoles. Walked out with a pair of boots I hadn’t considered new insoles and a couple of pairs of socks. Great service, couldn’t be happier. I will be back.

What a great service, called in to get a new pair of walking boots, but having had bunion surgery just three and a half months ago I wasn’t sure if I could get some, David was very helpful and had me measured and boots on my feet that felt so very comfortable. After a couple of 2 mile walks to test them, I did a 7.5 mile walk and had no problems at all. Thanks for giving me the confidence to get back out there.

A real gem of a shop! Karen recently fitted me for a pair of hiking boots and new trail shoes, and helped my brother buy his first pair of tail shoes. Her knowledge of the local area and terrain is invaluable - she was able to recommend trail shoes based on the specific fell race I'm preparing for - and her enthusiasm for the outdoors means she can speak from experience about many different shoes and boots. She measured my feet and let me try on a few styles, and didn't pressure me towards the expensive options. I came away with exactly what I needed and have since enjoyed my first hike in the new boots - no blisters! - without having to spend a fortune (the prices and very competitive with chains, even online). I'll be back any time I need gear for hiking and trail running, I can't recommend Peak Footwear enough 🙂

Great shop! Good selection of boots and really helpful, knowledgeable staff. I wore mine for the first time on a city break and averaged 8 miles a day walking in -3. My feet were toasty and perfectly comfortable as the boots didn't need breaking in at all. I'm recommending Peak Footwear to everyone I know! Thanks for a great product 🙂

Amazing!!!
Purchased some Lowa Renegade boots a few weeks back. Really comfortable straight from the box, good grip and have passed the waterproof test. I've done 3 hikes in them now, last one 10miles and not a single blister! Karen really knows her stuff, she takes such care and attention to make sure you are getting the boot that's right for you.
