If you are looking for the most perfect wedding venue, Peak Edge is definitely the one! We only ever viewed this venue and instantly fell in love, we knew this would be the place we would get married!||The venue is beautiful. The oak room is perfect and so beautifully decorated (fire place and sky light) it makes for the most beautiful ceremony room. Everything is so perfectly laid out in the venue that you barely have to leave the one room, everything all leads to one another which is perfect at a wedding.||All of the staff are wonderful, professional, patient and do everything to make sure your day runs smoothly. The planners (we had Francine at the start and Soraya towards the end and on the day) are just amazing! Any little question and they have the answers for you within minutes, they go through every minor detail to make sure everything is perfect on the day. Soraya was amazing, we were so honoured to have her as part of our wedding because we honestly would not know what to do without her. The staff on the day (particularly Tim and Zack) were brilliant and kept us in the loop with everything going on and where we needed to be. ||The food was unreal, the best we have ever had at a wedding. All of our guests commented on how amazing the day was and how wonderful the venue was, the best wedding they had ever been to! ||We had a lot of our guests staying over the night of the wedding and all rooms were beautiful, especially the honeymoon suite which was just so beautiful! The next morning Soraya had organised for our breakfast to be held in the Walton suite due to it being Mother’s Day and us having a lot of guests staying, just another touch which was perfect in ours by the team!||Thank you so much Soraya and the team for making our day so special🤍

A fabulous romantic weekend retreat.||The hotel is really comfortable and very well appointed. We had a feature room with a wonderful view over the pond and gardens. The room was spacious and clean and there were plenty of comforts. The bedding is good quality and the bed was extremely comfortable (even if it was a little short for me). The toiletries were of a good quality. There was a safe in the room, along with hair dryer, iron & board, mini fridge (stocked).||This will now be our little weekend bolt hole.||Thank you for making us feel very welcome.||Our only criticism was the shower tray looked a little bit grubby and could do with a refresh. This is the result of a poor finish during construction rather than a maintenance issue. Some extra cleaning and re sealing would solve this.||The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The food is delicious and very fresh.||The bar is comfortable, well stocked and very cosy.

A superb place. There were ten of us at dinner and we were all effusive in our praise for the food and the service. The rooms were well-appointed, the beds comfy, the views delightful. Breakfast portions were generous, quickly-served and of high quality. The service was particularly attentive. On selecting the full breakfast without the meat items, I was asked by the waiter (whose name I neglected to ask) whether I was vegetarian, and she asked if I'd prefer veggie sausages instead, which was kind. Great coffee too. I will be staying here again when I have an excuse.

Great hotel, set in a great location and great restaurant with lovely staff and the quality of the food was high. We really enjoyed the walks available and explored a little. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy. ||Would definitely recommend

My son had his wedding reception here & it was a good choice. The staff, food & comfort zones were to a high standard. It is in a picturesque location with ample parking. My daughter in law had a room the previous night & she was highly satisfied with the cleanliness & comfort on offer. Good access to. Chesterfield & Matlock. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying for my special birthday.||I chose to stay at Peak Edge as I have been before and it feels like going home.||The attention to detail is excellent and everywhere is absolutely spotless. We love this place.||My partner said the meal on the second night was possibly his best ever meal. The oysters were gorgeous.||Thank you to the whole team for great service and making my birthday special.

We only live 5 minutes away, but decided to book a suite for the night with breakfast the following morning.
The hotel reception looks fantastic and the staff are welcoming and professional. The rooms are amazing, very spacious, and come with a duck quack alarm clock from the small lake outside the balcony window.
We had an evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant. Both were exception as always, and the staff are a credit to the business. The open fire in the bar area really does set the tone for this place.

As a family, we've been to the Red Lion restaurant a few times, mostly for special occasions. It's an amazing location, the service is outstanding, the decor and ambience feels luxurious while still relaxed. The staff helpful, friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The Christmas decorations were amazing.
The food was exquisite and pricey but worth it. While there are a couple of vegetarian dishes on the menu, it would be nice if there were some choices for vegetarians, but that didn't detract from the evening.
Once again, we've had a wonderful evening. Thank you.
