We hired Monty for 12 nights and had a fabulous time! Booking was simple and straightforward and collection easy. As first time campers we found everything we needed to enjoy our break away. We drove around the Scottish Highlands and loved every minute we spent on our adventure. Clear instructions, and helpful pointers from Mark made our trip go smoothly.
Monty was comfortable, warm and dry, with everything needed to cook for ourselves. The onboard wet room was absolutely great for showers and freshening up.
We would definitely recommend Overland Campers to anyone wanting something a little bit different to the norm but with all the mod cons associated with a modern campervan! An absolutely fantastic concept and just great fun.

I hired “Stirling” for just under a week at the end of April’22 and it was one of the best decisions I have made. It was for a personal getaway, so strictly speaking I didn’t need all the space that “Stirling” has, but for one he’s absolute luxury!

I guess the things you’ll want to know regarding a hire may be as follows:

- Mark and Claire are an absolute pleasure to deal with, quick to respond, knowledgeable and great fun.
- “Stirling” was immaculate - clean and in excellent condition.
- Some starter things are there for you, this is really helpful.
- “Stirling” was warm, dry and comfortable in outside temperatures overnight dropping to 0c and in wind and rain.
- Driving a Land Rover Ambulance is actually pretty easy - not quick, but easy.
- All camping features are simple to operate - electric hookup, water tank fill, cassette toilet ( I’ll be honest, as a novice this had me most worried, it was so straightforward and not what I feared at all ).
- The kitchen is amazing to cook in - I had no problem catering for myself at all, I never resorted to eating out/takeout during the week.

In a nutshell, it was amazing, and I’m looking forward to booking again at the earliest available opportunity for longer this time !

We took Lance on a 3 week adventure around the Hebridean Islands for our Honeymoon - Wow! What a vehicle! It was a great adventure. Lance was a comfortable home for the time we were on the road and we had no issues whilst travelling.

The Landrover Ambulances are real headturners. We met all kinds people who wanted to talk to us about the vehicle and our travels.

Mark and Claire who run Overland Campers are a lovely couple who made us feel really welcome and were on hand to answer any queries we had.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend one of their vehicles if you are after something different for an adventure of your own. Thank you for a great Honeymoon!

My two friends and I hired Lance for a week to travel Scotland. Great experience made even better with the camper. Despite the campervan breaking down of us towards the end of our trip Claire and Mark were extremely helpful and did everything to help us continue our journey. We hired Fergal for 2 weeks in September for a road trip around Scotland for our 30th wedding anniversary. The van was fantastic. 2 beds, gas heater and water heater. Solar powered fridge (and we had plenty of sunshine to power it!). Toilet inside which was a bonus at night and for off grid camping. I’ve taken so many photos of Fergal and he got so much attention everywhere we went!

We recently hired Monty for 5 nights and it’s honestly been the best experience! We travelled around the Yorkshire Dales and Monty had everything we could ever need. The drive was amazing through the stunning Yorkshire surroundings.

We’ve wanted to hire a camper from Overland Campers since discovering their website last year and have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Can’t wait to hire Monty again!

We had Stirling for 6 nights and explored the Lake District with him! What can I say, Stirling was absolutely amazing providing us with comfort, shelter and entertainment throughout! An absolute head turner sparking conversations with every person walking past!
