We decided to eat here last Saturday. The weather was drizzling, and we noticed a queue had formed when we first walked by. We returned around 1345 and were given a table for 4 upstairs straight away. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Three of us chose to order from the daily specials. Two orders were vegetarian. The Tuscan bean soup was huge! We all were very pleased with our meals. The prices were reasonable, and because the place was getting generally quieter, we never felt rushed. Highly recommended.

What a lovely place to go to. It was recommended to us. The place is a gem. The food was good and at a reasonable price. I can't say enough about how helpful and friendly the staff are and they go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your choice of meal. I went with friends, and we all said we would definitely go again when next in Oakham.

Excellent Deli/Bistro style providing a quality range of foods and drinks to eat in or takeaway
Seating both indoors and out ( where you can watch the world go by)
Staff are extremely helpful and provide a service in both a professional and friendly way.

Absolutely love this place, it is an absolute treat whenever we go for breakfast and the deli is just outstanding. Staff are very welcoming, you feel looked after and it doesn't cost a fortune. I think the menu has a great variety and the portions delivered are perfect. Some places disappoint when you get a breakfast because it is too much posh and not enough volume! Not here it is the perfect balance of posh and volume. Fingers crossed it never changes because they are smashing it just exactly as they are. Huge thank you and well done. (Couple aged 46 for context)

If you live in Oakham you will know this already. Otters Fine Foods. We were visiting so poped in for a lite lunch.
Although very busy, the staff were very welcoming and the service good, more importantly the food was wonderful. Having lived in Spain for a number of years it was good to taste the ham's and cheese from Spain.
I would highly recommend a visit for lunch or just a coffee.

I have always loved Otters, and i think it's fair to say that I am a 'regular'.

Consistently the staff are friendly, efficient and welcoming, the food is great and there is a lovely ambience.

This morning, I decided to treat my 13 year old son to Brunch there - and I have to say that it was exceptional across the board.

My son chose the waffles and fruit platter and chocolate milkshake ... I had a Yorkshire pudding wrap, filled with roast beef & cooked to perfection!! This was served with super tasty sauté potatoes. To drink I had the Elderflower with mint & Lemon, elegantly served in a carafe.

Afterwards my son had a hot chocolate, with cream, marshmallow and pieces of chocolate brownie, while I had a cappuccino.

Highly recommended.
