We stopped here for breakfast on the way down to Exeter, there were plenty of tables available. The menu had a good choice of hot food and loads of cakes which looked delicious! We had the waffle with yogurt and berries which was really good. Both drinks and food came very quickly, and servers were very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Would highly recommend for food, the breakfast was stunning with fresh ingredients used. Staff were friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere. There is lots of ice cream options and you can tell why they were the winners of ice cream parlour of the year

Stopped off from the A303 for brunch. Had a lovely coffee and amazing waffles! Staff were lovely and seating options/ facilities were fabulous. Good toilets if you need to stop off.

We visited today and I’ve come straight on here to give a review due to the fantastic service we received. We arrived with two large dogs and looked outside for a sheltered table as, although bright, it was cold in the wind. Our excellent waiter came out to great us and informed us well behaved dogs, on leads, could sit in the back corner, wonderful!
The food was quick even though they were pretty full. The food was very nice and we had one of their excellent ice creams to takeaway at the end.
Top notch service from very welcoming staff.

Wow. This place is brilliant.
We sat down outside in the cold as we had the dog with us and we brought blankets too but the kind lady allowed us to sit inside by the back door as it was quiet inside much to our delight.

The otter breakfast was excellent and local produce. My wife had a Gluten Free Vegetarian breakfast which was great. Not the usual same as a meat breakfast but without the meat, this was grilled Halloumi, spinach and other extras on the plate.

We were so stuffed there wasn’t time for ice cream but we will be back.

We went in to eat on a busy Saturday lunchtime. The helpful staff found us a table and we had a great meal in a bustling atmosphere with quite a bit of noise . You order at the counter, but the table service is quick after that. Carnivore pizza was very good , the tart of the day was superb, and the goat cheese salad was succulent. Despite the busy-ness the restaurant was very clean, and the bathrooms were immaculate. Of course we tried the famous homemade ice cream afterwards, to round things off, and we were impressed.
