There's enough shopping here to fill a whole day! This was my third visit (on an organised day trip), and once again I was pleased with the wide variety of shopping outlets: Regatta, Klass, Edinburgh Woollen Mill, Pavers Shoes, Skechers, Ponden Home, Weird Fish, The Works, to name but a few. There's a great range of stylish and high quality furniture, plus carpets and rugs, bedding, towels, kitchenware and state of the art sewing machines. Some of it was very expensive, but there were also plenty of bargains to be had and some big price reductions, and in addition we were given group discount vouchers when we arrived. I bought some lovely greetings cards at The Works, and a fleecy jacket at Edinburgh Woollen Mill. At both outlets, the staff were really pleasant and helpful. There were three cafes to choose from. I had a nice lasagne with chips and salad, and a delicious big slice of carrot cake, at the downstairs Pavilion Café. There's a museum dedicated to the mill's history, but it was closed at the time of my visit. Don't miss the biggest peardrop in the world - it's truly amazing! There's a lovely garden centre and gift shop next door, and a nice little picnic area and a pond, with ducks and geese, behind the mill when you want a break from shopping. Lots of free parking, clean toilets with baby changing, and a children's soft play area. Overall a great day out!

Very old mill divided up into multiple retail outlets. A lot of space is franchised out to well known national suppliers. Two cafes and a restaurant upstairs. A good place to visit for two or three hours . something new around each corner. Don't forget to check out the bargains or end of lines.

We visited the Santa’s Grotto last Christmas, and it was terrible. The whole thing felt strange and crowded, and one of the staff representing the “elves” was extremely rude and shouty. When we told a member of staff she said she represented the “Naughty Elf” but I find that unfair! You’re paying to make Reindeer Food and get shouted at by some lady with elf ears. Obviously after we told the staff about the “Naughty Elf”, she became nice! Santa was great, but that’s not all. Just recently we went to the Creepy Crawlies experience. When we entered there was barely enough seating and we had to sit in spare chairs. The lady presenting it then decided to complain saying she “didn’t want to be here” and that “there’s too many kids”, and she said that in front of everyone. She didn’t even act happy or say something nice. You can clearly tell this was a random lady they made do in a rush because she started saying the animals were “magic” to cover what was about to happen. She then proceeded to pull out what seems to be a shiny plastic butterfly, which after showing all the children, turned out to be a real, dead butterfly. The poor thing had been killed for entertainment! After almost being sick from seeing the butterfly and seeing her put it on a TODDLER’S HEAD, we decided to sneak away when she wasn’t looking. It was meant to last an hour, but I doubt I would’ve stayed that long. On the car ride home I went to look at the reviews, and conveniently, there was none! Seems quite fishy, but I forgot to mention that on the booking website there were images clearly stolen off Google, showing exotic critters. There can’t have been real critters there, because on the table in the experience there was Very Small Tupperware and ZIPLOCK BAGS, so if there was real critters they’d be dead or tortured! Don’t waste your money, Gordon Rigg Garden Centre do a MUCH better one. Good shopping, but terrible experiences.

This is a great shopping mill to visit, lots of choice, clothes shoes, cards, gifts, household items etc. With a garden centre, furniture section and lots more. There is even a works store inside the mill.
There are a few different cafes to choose from, one being up on a mezzanine.
Plenty of parking
Toilets with a separate baby changing room.
Well worth a visit don't forget to take a trolley round with you.

It seems a little over rated. The actual mill where the shoes and clothes are, aimed at veterans and retired peoples day out. Nothing wrong with this idea however the quality of clothing, shoes, linen, and other items seems really low quality and well overpriced for what it is. Couldn't help but think the older generation are not getting a bargain here and doesn't seem fair as it is branded as you can get amazing bargains. Not the case. The food halls are old fashioned not one of them offering Vegan options... Very out of date. The best part is the furniture as it is unusual and very good looking. I would have given the furniture side 4 stars minimum, however as it is connected to the rest of the place this is not possible. I guees the outside pond is nice but again nothing to rave about. The mill has a very old history worth learning about.

We had an amazing time at yesterday’s Father Christmas experience! It was a 10/10, and my nieces absolutely loved every part. Their favourite part was the gingerbread decorating—it was such a fun activity! The elves were fantastic! Highly recommend this experience!

Great place and large to browse around. For the garden, gadgets and clothes. Also a couple of cafes and a large outdoor area out the back to sit in when it's nice.
