This place has it all. Here you’ll find 4 charity shops, YMCA, mencap, Goldhay arts and Sue Ryder. You’ll also find a gym for adults and one for kids, a Turkish barbers, an amazing takeaway called BJs Plaice, some hair and beauty places, a Poundland, Co-op, B and M, Greggs, A pharmacy, Iceland, QD, vets, convenience store, a polish food shop and a brand new sportsbar with cafe soon too be added!!!!
There is a huge car park…which is all day free parking!!!! And a smaller car park on the other side of the centre. The QD store has a cafe inside which doe’s breakfast and lunches.

Better than it used to be a few years ago, but talk about "damned by faint praise".
It's a horribly depressing space, where most ahops remain empty. Nothing to do, nothing to see.

Slowly growing its range of shops, it just needs different types, four charity shops is too many, but they fit in with the area and it's economy, Xmas lights should be on this year.

The Orton gate shopping centre offers a good selection of shops that are located around a large carpark. The is a large number of disabled parking bays. The surface and pavement leading to the shops was a good quality making wheelchair access good. There is also two Engenie Car chargers on site.
