Called in yesterday on off chance, came out very satisfied, with a 240v Multitool at a very good price. The guy who served me understood my needs and didn't try to up sell me, so I was very impressed.
Easy to get to and free parking outside.
Shops like this deserve our trade and to succeed.
Many thanks,
Roger.

Checked on order after not hearing anything for a couple of days and surprised to see it marked as “Rejected” in the account. No communication about what happened, money was refunded promptly but would expect at least a courtesy e-mail which would have saved me a bit of time.

Ordered an item online, sent a follow up mail to inquire as to how long it would take to receive my purchase to which there was no reply, followed that up with a phone call to try to find out where my purchase was. I was told they had posted the item the same day I called. Followed that up 6 days later asking where the item was to be told it’s been posted and they will check with the courier, asked for a tracking number so I could track the item and got an email saying it’s not been posted yet and they where going to refund me.!!!!!
PayPal will take a week to refund my near £800 payment for some reason.!! This lot should be working for billy smarts circus as they are a bunch of clowns.😡😡

Used Onsite's web service late last week.
Everything just worked as it should and I like that....no delays, no mistakes just straight forward good service.

Ordered an item late last week on line, paid my money, the part arrived yesterday in good order, just as it should.

Will have no hesitation to use their services again or to recommend to my friends.

Thanks chaps!

I recently posted a review of this establishment following a returned item complaint I had with them. The original review wrote:

“Very unhelpful. Purchased via their eBay store, when the product became faulty I sent it back, that was two months ago. I sent copies of all paperwork which they later said they had lost after I enquired about my replacement or refund. After emailing a PDF copy of receipt they've suggested it didn't include the date of purchase (which it did) and so they can't (won't) help. I'll be moving on to PayPal to complain and all relevant ombudsman. Avoid.”

Since posting this with an accompanying 1/5 star review, I have been contacted by the management to resolve the item. I have received a refund in full as a ‘good will gesture’. I have also received an email from them in regard to my review reading:

“It is misleading to say the least, it does not explain that the item was nearly one year old which resulted in the delay in resolving the issue, at no time were your messages ignored and we have tried to assist – none of this was included, but the impression given was that we are a business who do not help their customers.

We are also aware of your Instagram story regarding your item. It does appear that with both these posts you are trying your best to ruin a small business.

Having read some of your previous reviews on Google there does seem a theme to these. It is a pity you found the need to include us in your negative reviews.”

The fact of the matter is, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to resolution to be served by the retailer (no third party such as the item manufacturer or the retailers’ supplier as I have no contact or contract with them) within 14 days of the initial complaint being lodged. It has taken 65 days before I was offered that resolution since first contacting this company with the issue.

In the UK, unless can be shown otherwise (and a photo of the item in its as returned condition was sent along with the first message) I have rights under this act for up to 6 years after purchase.

In this case it was within 12 months and being 12 months old is not the same as having 12 months of use which it clearly had not considering it still had all original packaging and no wear on the tool itself beyond the fault which caused it to become unusable.

I also had to send four copies of the original purchase invoice as they had lost the original paper copies that accompanied the returned item and I was told the PDF copy I emailed to them was not dated so I would not be able to find resolution despite the fact it was dated and I’d sent it to them via 2 separate platforms (eBay and email).

I also take issue with the following: “Having read some of your previous reviews on Google there does seem a theme to these. It is a pity you found the need to include us in your negative reviews.”

I have submitted 59 reviews to Google reviews up until now none of which have been disputed or edited following complaints. Of those 59 only 9 were given 1/5 stars.

The fact is I will be completely honest in any review I give, I have absolutely no desire or interest in “trying your best to ruin a small business.”

I will however allow others to experience what I have experienced and take it upon themselves to decide if they should want to conduct business with said company.

Where any company tries their best to make the customer feel helped I will make it plainly clear in any review I give.

I have a following over 1800+ people on Instagram purely as a result of my honest reviews given in regard to tool companies and manufacturers primarily used by people within the construction industry.

In short, no review I give is anything short of the truth and will be completely justified; if there are any concerns my reviews can be reported to Google for review at which point I will be completely happy to assist them in doing so.

The issue has now been resolved and for that I will reconsider the 1/5 review I gave originally and offer a second ‘star’ for effort. 2/5.
