Dirty and grimy, the town centre really needs a revamp. The small play area in the centre is absolutely rubbish and filthy. (Human excrement in the climbing tower where kids play) would love to see some life brought back to it.

Busy and full of culture. You can see money has been invested in the area.

I gave it four stars because the roads are terribly thought out and the splitting of the bus station seems a ridiculous idea

Run down with mainly phone, pawn and food shops. Really surprised by lack of footfall on a Saturday morning, once a great town and market which have been allowed to deteriorate. Council should be ashamed

Ate at the Thai Kitchen was delicious. The town was busier than I have seen it in years. The outdoor market stalls could do with a bit more variety, then again thats most markets these days.

I called in one Tuesday tea time because I was doing some flooring in my awning with a mate and we were hungry so I went for 2 kebabs with salad but when I got back to the caravan and opened the kebabs and tasted it it was cold and its only a 2 minute walk back to the caravan the meat was burnt and very dry obviously I was given yesterday's left overs that had dried out and left on a of pop let alone any food.

I only go into oldham centre if I have to now specific shops!!!!.
It's run down and the council are trying to revive it but making all the wrong decisions with £1000s of our tax money ? ?.
Either overpriced coffee shops or vape shops and other shops just trying to make a living.
Like other town centres it has been left to long to revive !!!!.
