People may slate Stockport, but the old town is steeped in history and is something not to be missed. So much to see and do from the old markets, traditional pubs, amazing restaurants and fish & chios and out door markets. There really is something for everyone.
It's quirky Street layout and pubs that you don't expect to be there are there again inside the building are like stepping back in time, it truly is a magnificent place. The retail centre, the cinema to name but a few. The council really have invested and made it very appealing.
Well worth a visit, just for the historical parts and the narrow walkways to shops including the adult shop next door to a photographers shop!! Cant beat it. Well maybe some do!
If you are bored I'd highly recommend a visit anytime.

I placed an online order on Friday with Old Town General Store and it was sent out under 20 minutes later! I was shocked- I've never had such a speedy service! I was given all tracking updates, and then the order then arrived promptly on Monday morning, wrapped beautifully and with a handwritten note.

Excellent choice for men and women and I've been introduced to some great new brands via OTGS.

I've had a couple of things delivered too and I don't know how they get it packaged and sent so quickly.

This is a real boon for Stockport, and would recommend everyone to pop in when they get chance.
