I have just bought a ham salad sandwich for £4 & an extra 50p for mayo once I opened it I was shocked to say the least certainly not worth that or even £3 photo says it all, lettuce old & brown on the edges hardly any tomatoes or cucumber. Disgusting I shall not buy again
Back to Sainsbury’s for a meal deal !!!

Came to see the local sights today. Spent about £20 in total on various pies and cakes. The Chilli Jam Pork Pies were great.

Everything else left much to be desired and we've been well and truly ripped off. Raspberry Buns, Cream Scones, Eccles Cakes all tasted stale and were rock hard. As if they had been out for a few days rather than freshly baked each day. "Artisan Bakery" I don't think!

The bread looked lovely in the window yesterday, bought the Mediterranean sourdough - how anyone can sell bread so stale and rock hard I will never know - it went in the bin this morning, complete waste of money.

Popped in for a bacon roll and coffee. The roll was huge and filled with 3 generous thick cuts of bacon. The coffee was also excellent. Really impressed.

Bought a cheese salad sandwich. Contents, one slice of cucumber, hacked off piece of red onion, yellow remnants of iceberg lettuce, two teaspoons of grated cheese, angry splodge of mayo to one side. Disappointing to say the least, I gave two stars for the decent bread cake that contained the mess. Do avoid that middle aged madam that served us.

Amazing! Come here all the time as I live in holmfirth! Consistently the best bakery around!
