Excellent customer service from the first inquiry through to delivery. A great company to do business with and great bike to ride as it has all the features as advertised and more. Thanks Colin. The bikes got great styling so I could not resist adding a tank bag for the tools, locks and bike alarm. I’ve only had it a day and have lost count of the number of random people who have positively commented on the bike styling. Performance wise it keeps up with fit commuters and has great torque. I live on a steep hill and it takes it in its stride. Totally recommend the Off Road Segway and their products. Raymond Henry

An appalling experience.

We ordered two Segways on 22 May 2024 and also two sets of panniers for the Segways at the same time. After a catalogue of delays, excuses, and finally my partner having physically to go and collect the Segways (Off Road Segway paid for the van hire, but not the necessary overnight hotel stay), we had the Segways in the end by 22 June, a whole month after ordering and making payment.

This meant that a birthday holiday time which was meant to be spent happily Segwaying passed without any Segways in sight.

Although we now had the panniers, the fixing brackets were missing and so the panniers were unusable (no Segway picnics on the coast for us this Summer).

More delays, more excuses and promises, and now even today (23 September 2024 and four months after payment) we still have no brackets and the panniers are still in their boxes. The latest excuse is that the brackets could not be shipped on the promised date because Off Road Segway did not have our address (despite this obviously being on two separate invoices issued by the company...). No e-mail request for the address either, just silence until I finally lost my rag.

There are, fortunately, other Segway sellers so don't put yourself through this misery.

I contacted Colin with a very small order of just 1 segway. The communication and customer care couldn't have been better if I'd ordered 100! There was a small delay with delivery so Colin drove the 3 hour journey to deliver himself to ensure I had my segway on time! He has followed up with calls to check I'm happy and offered so much support with set up and even sent me policies suitable for providing a segway session. I can't rate them highly enough. If you want a personal service of a high standard then please use this company. If only every company I worked with was this customer focussed. Louise - New Day New Way Alternative Provision.

Hello, This is Mike James from Safer Cycling UK - we were recently invited to take a look at off-road Segways amazing range of e-bikes with a potential view to buying from them. We were given a warm and friendly reception and felt very at ease and confident with these guys. The bikes themselves were solidly built and oozed quality with the latest designs in stock and are easily capable of both off-road and on-road use. From a safer cycling point of view, we noticed that they had excellent disc brake braking systems, extremely comfortable saddles, fat tyres for a smoother ride, and even front and rear lights - including a brake light for extra safety. The safety factor swayed it for us and will be ordering new bikes as soon as the time comes.
