Marek from the O2 store was excellent today; I'd been in at the weekend to pre-order the Google Pixel 8 Pro on O2 Switch Up with another of his colleagues (who was also excellent), after having had the worst experience I've ever had with O2 Kings Lynn and Marek has really turned the experience around for me.
He was chatty and friendly, walking me through the contract information, pointing out some of the perks and options available, and just keeping conversation going whilst my phone transferred.
It really was a perfect experience, with a friend and attentive member of staff and from now on I'll be going to Wisbech to deal with O2.
Thank you Marek, I hope seeing the Pixel 8 Pro convinced you to give it a try instead of those iPhones ... 😉

Thanks so much to Sammy. I had to wait but worth it. I had talked to him on the phone so he checked I was ok to wait. He was so smiley with me whilst sorting the prob on my Samsung that I had caused! He talked about his mum to reassure me so I didn't feel too silly. They were very busy. But I didn't feel hurried. You were a star. Thanks for knowing your stuff and making an old lady and a techno phobe very happy 😁

Before I moved to Thailand for a few months i enquired about getting a sim that would allow me to make calls and texts without excessive charges. The girl in the store (I’ll save the name) said that the sim she chose for me would include unlimited international calls with no excess charges if I made a call while in Thailand. Stupidly enough I believed her and come to find I spent £7 on making a 2 minute call dispute being told the calls were inclusive of the monthly charge. They need to train their staff better or employ people who know what they’re doing. I’ve been a customer for 14 years and had no issues and then this store’s employees blow it.
