A tantalising glimpse from the car window, resulted in an impromptu stop - thank heavens! This shop is a total delight, showcasing the beautiful and unusual, with a visually stunning range of unique art from very talented artists. From ceramics, to art, jewellery, leather goods and so much more, you’ll be sure to find something you’ll treasure and if you fancy having a go yourself, there are frequent workshops too!
Sher and Hailey are incredibly welcoming and their passion for supporting the wealth of talent in and around the County (and beyond), is wonderful. Make sure you pop in next time you’re in Hornsea. My purchases have pride of place in our new home!

The most beautiful shop I have ever been in which you are welcomed into by the warmest of people, lovely Hayley & Sher.
There is something for everyone and is an amazing homage to local artists.
Hayley & Sher's mission to support local is admirable.
I havent, yet, been able to attend one of their many different workshops but I hope to soon.
The best thing about Number Nine, for me, is my Christmas presents from my husband have been phenomenal since it opened 😅

Number Nine Marketplace is an absolute gem: one of the best new additions to Hornsea in recent years. Not only does this wonderful space house a whole host of different creative individual's work, but they do great events for the local community. In the space you can browse and buy original artwork, jewellery, ceramics and clothes - amongst other items - all small batch or one of a kind pieces. In terms of events, they have pop-up stalls, small markets and workshops. I recently attended a fabulous workshop in collaboration with Tipperleyhill, which focused on abstract florals - acrylic on canvas. The experience was full of joy, laughter and creativity - well worth it.

Number Nine Market Place in Hornsea is well worth a visit. Filled with treasures created by local artists. An eclectic mix of art, ceramics, jewellery, fashion & leather goods. Fabulous, knowledgeable customer service; I found a lovely sea glass necklace for my daughter, to remind us of her childhood collection. Great to see the independent high street thriving!

Had the pleasure of doing a painting workshop over the weekend with Tipperly Hill at the gallery in the garden courtyard and the experience was so friendly will definitely be back for another! Thank you

Fantastic store - a lovely addition to the Hornsea high street. Beautiful art to browse and inspire and some wonderful pop up events and workshops.

Such a beautiful shop. Everywhere you look you see something new and beautiful. All handmade, artisan pieces. They even offer payment plans and gift registry which I just think is fantastic! They hold fabulous workshops and pop up events. To top it all off the beautiful owners literally can't do enough for you. So happy, helpful and wonderful - they even gift wrap your items if wanted. I absolutely love this shop and would recommend everyone in Hornsea to take a visit, you won't regret it!

Number Nine is the most incredible place. So many unique and interesting pieces of art/ jewellery/ ceramics/ clothing. Fantastic classes including bespoke sessions ( i had my birthday celebration here this year doing a class with family). Hayley and Cher are so welcoming and friendly, makes it such a pleasure to browse here (although i usually leave with something, because its hard not to!).
