Never heard of this place before so we thought we’d try it out! Staff were lovely, cozy atmosphere- dog friendly and even noticed they had a dog menu + were giving treats out! The breakfast was lovely, beans were 10/10!!! Our new fav little place for brekkie/coffee.

No.4 can be found just off the Clowne Greenway, which makes it ideal for a stop off if biking or hiking.

I stopped off whilst out biking and was more than happy with the service and the food & drink. I might also mention that it has a lovely courtyard area for customers to sit out in, which offers a nice mixture of shaded and non-shaded areas.

The prices were reasonable and certainly somewhere that I would visit again when up that way on.

We have been going to No 4 for approx 7 years now. It was always a very good cafe, with food, cakes, drinks being excellent, especially the cream tea. However, we recently went for take away cakes, scones and coffee and it was quite poor. The scones were still good but a little pricey, but the cakes were very poor. We ordered chocolate cake and a gluten free brownie and both were very dry. The chocolate cake was exceptionally dry, and very small considering the price of around £4.50. honestly really disappointed but we will likely still return as the cream tea, with scones jam and cream are still good.

2024 review: still a lovely little cafe. Extremely tasty food. Had the buttermilk chicken sandwich and a halloumi salad. A little on the expensive side nowadays but thankfully the food quality matched the price.

Service time was as expected for lunch and any issue we had was quickly rectified by helpful staff

2020 review: Wonderful little coffee shop with a gorgeous aesthetic. Staff are lovely. Food was delicious and the chai tea amazing! Prices are exceptionally reasonable. 2 drinks and 2 meals for ~£12

Will absolutely be coming back.

My only disappointment was in myself for not coming sooner!

One of our favourite cafes. Great service and lovely atmosphere every time. Took the dog for the first time today, she was welcomed with some dog treats and got her own little menu. We all had a lovely breakfast and coffee together. No.4 do the best dirty chai for miles!! And great selection of veggie and meat dishes. Prices are great for the warm welcome you receive. Thank you again, we will continue to join you in the future!

Nice little coffee shop with inside and outside seating. The staff are also friendly and efficient.
The food is nicely presented and tasty, however the only downside is that there are not many vegan options.

We had a pit stop here whilst enjoying an autumn walk along the Clowne Greenway. The tea and cake was delicious and the service was great. We'll definitely be visiting again soon.
