No 14 is one of my favourite shops in Ampthill. I've been visiting for years and she always has the perfect stock for the time of year! They have everything you could ask for if you're looking for a present for an occasion (or just for yourself)

I support Jo with some marketing work too and she is just fabulous. I love reading her newsletter and all of the amazing work that goes on behind the scenes. She truly, truly cares for her team which is just so refreshing to see.

The best shop in the area, owned by an absolutely delightful lady called Jo! Jo and her staff go out of their way to make your visit to No 14 Ampthill a really pleasurable one and it makes you want to keep going back. And on top of that, everything in the shop is fantastic, so much to choose from at fantastic prices. Thank you!

Absolutely the best customer service ever! We arrived at shop at 9.10 and said “oh it’s not open til 9.30, we don’t wanna wait til then”, as it was really cold and we had no other shopping to do elsewhere. And the lady heard us, she came to window and mouthed do you want to come in which we said yes, so she opened the shop for us! Then she asked if we would like a cup of tea. What a fantastic customer experience! The shop is set out so beautifully with absolutely exquisite quality things. I brought some amazing, beautiful rings and received a lovely quality free gift bag too, so pleased with them. Staff are always so polite, welcoming and helpful. I would one hundred per cent recommend this shop!

My favourite independent shop. Highly recommend if you are looking for high quality gifts, homewares or something a little different at really reasonable prices. My go-to place for cards for all occasions. Staff are always super friendly (and the dogs love getting a treat!). Really impressed with the lengths they've gone to to keep their customers (and staff) safe from the virus too.

Number 14 represents everything a local, independent shop should be and how you would want it to be. That means a beautiful shop, an amazing range of products at very keen prices, and an owner and staff who clearly take immense pride in the business. If you cannot find a gift here suitable for any occasion for which you are buying, well it probably doesn't exist as Number 14 has something for every occasion at wholly affordable price points. Cannot recommend it highly enough!
