I got mouldy sealed chicken bits for a snack that expired on the 28th of September and made it a big deal about giving me my money back. Not the cleanest if they just sell these. This is the second time I've had to send stuff back

Very convenient shop for our area. Good post office opening times. Great choice of goods on offer. Its a little more than the large supermarkets. But that's the case in all the smaller convenience shops. I've always found the staff to be friendly. Some I recognise from the previous co op.

The best local store in the area, it is well stocked and they do everything you need! The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming. The new layout is very spacious meaning I could easily browse all of the aisles with my pushchair. I will be visiting the store again and recommending it to others in the area!

Greatly improved after the refit and extension.
New displays, fridges and freezers.
Has a good weekly meal deal offer, over 50% off normally.
Some prices are higher than major supermarkets, but handy as a convenience store when you run out of something.
Still has a post office counter.

Really disappointing. The new owners aren’t very welcoming, tend to follow you around the shop if you have a rucksack or big bag (I work shifts at the local hospital and so take one to work). I’ve also heard from a co worker he experienced the same treatment.
The prices are atrociously high. This area is full of young families and pensioners, not all of which can make it into town and so they are forced to pay the prices.
I’ve been trying to stick with the shop because I really like the old staff and want to support them, but I unfortunately can’t afford it.
Shame as I used to shop in there 2-3times a week

I highly recommend against visiting our local Nisa that is purposefully attempting to con the community. I went in last week and realised some items are stacked under the wrong labels such as cheap chocolate under an expensive label and expensive chocolate under a cheap one this was the same for many other items. Today I went in and picked up an item fully stocked behind a cheap label and at the till realised it wrung in at way higher I queried it and was told by a lovely gentleman that it had been stocked behind the wrong label so I asked if it could be honoured due to how it had been stocked and he agreed. The manager then told him no because the label said a different name and the can had a price on it I pushed that where it had been stocked was deceiving and he refused to honour the £1 difference. This is blatant deception that could severely impact more venerable customers I work in a shop and have always been taught if you stock it wrong you honour it. Very disappointed.

So glad I found this place! Was in such a rush and had so much to get for my childs birthday party. The staff went above and beyond to assist me with everything that I needed. They literally had everything that I needed to make my little girls day special! Can't be anymore thankful to them all. Great shop with amazing staff, would recommend to anyone in the area or passing by!
