We found Newrooms kitchens not only well made units but also the fitting service was first class as well. Even when our own plasterer let us down Newrooms stepped in and arranged for their sub-contractor plasterer to fill in without hardly any hold up to the work of re-plastering our kitchen.
They also worked in very well in deed with our own electrician in keeping him well informed so he could work in and around the Newrooms fitters.
We are really pleased with our finished kitchen.

Our new kitchen. We had downsized from our previous home and realised the kitchen needed to be replaced as soon as possible. We went straight back to Newrooms, as our previous kitchen installed by them had exceeded our expectations. We did not even consider going to anyone else. We gave Newrooms our wish list and they came back with a fantastic first draft design. We decided that we needed to change a couple of things and this was not a problem for them. Newrooms did the complete job, removed the old kitchen, flooring, ceiling and then rebuilt our new kitchen incorporating our existing items as requested (cooker and dishwasher). The whole job was project managed by Newrooms including all of the plumbing and electrics. The kitchen was finished in July after just three and a half weeks and we could not be happier. We love everything about it, the kitchen works perfectly for the amount of space. We have been so busy since the kitchen was installed this is the first chance we’ve had to comment. Therefore having now used the kitchen for nearly three months we can honestly say there is not a thing we would change, Newrooms got it right first time again and we highly recommend them.

Absolutely love our kitchen.
Fitters were great! Design was perfect, worked around our budget, and found the perfect door handles that I had in mind. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommend for a tailored kitchen to whatever design you want, that nobody else has.

Recently had a complete Kitchen renovation, New rooms teams were fantastic with the design and came up with practical solutions to issues. The schedule provided was accurate and kept too. All trades attended on time and were friendly and did a fantastic job.

The kitchen has transformed the whole house, Jamie and team were always open to being contacted and all issues were dealt with in a professional manner.

I have no issue giving a 5 star review as the end product is incredible and the service was very similar. I will happily use them again when we can afford to do our bathroom in the next few years. The products used are not cheap but you get what you pay for and are way above your average kitchen showroom product.

These guys are the best around this area without doubt .

I have tried to list a full and comprehensive review but there is not enough room. Start date 10th July, for some reason it had been moved to 17th July with an excuse from Jamie that the floor subcontractor was delayed, that was not true. The floor subcontractor’s work was 100% perfect. Units arrived 24th July and the subcontractor who fitted them was amazing, it was 100% perfect, but then on checking he mentioned the hob was not a good fit with the carcass. This was brought up with Jamie who had measured twice before the units were ordered, he said there was not an issue. The worktop company PWS in Darlington who also supplied the units then sent their man to laser measure for the worktop fit. He immediately said the worktop tolerance was not correct around the hob and as the sink had not yet arrived, he could not measure the sink opening. The PWS rep went to the showroom and measured the sink there, at that point Jamie took the decision without any discussion with me to reverse the sink position to make it fit the units already in situ. Their design, even with the dishwasher drawn in, didn’t take into account the dishwasher on the left hand side. The sink overhang was not possible due to the dishwasher being in situ, so Jamie instructed his men to cut out part of the sink unit across the bin position on the opposite side, making a total mess of the carcass. I did not want my tap to change sides from right to left it would have looked awful and not what was drawn on the specification which I had signed. The solution was to remove the hob unit and the two cupboards either side of it and bring them out further from the wall to accommodate the hob within manufacturers tolerances, which Jamie said wasn’t necessary. It would also then be within the tolerance of the quartz worktop edge for PWS. On the other side of the kitchen the sink unit had to be removed with the bin unit and swapped from a 600 to a 900 so my double bin unit had to be changed to a single one to fit the remaining gap. Then my sink could be fitted exactly as designed originally. Newrooms CAD system plots the units but does not take into account the Gola rail handless system so drawings were not the same as the fitted units, pan drawers and single drawers changed between drawing and fitting. Perhaps updating the CAD system might be a good idea then the customer will see exactly what they are ordering. My experience of the project is very poor. I have no issue with the quality of subcontractors, Eddie from Newrooms or the units and worktop from PWS. PWS measurements and cut were perfect under a difficult situation and their representative was very good to notice and work around the issues Newrooms had left him with. Suffice to say, if you want to use Newrooms all I would say is, check everything, make sure you are absolutely certain of sizes and set up and double check more than once. Question everything. Customer service from Jamie is very, very poor, he will avoid contact if at all possible and make excuses for his lack of attention. The design was at fault from the beginning, not enough attention to detail was given. Jamie has now said any further orders for my sink model will only be put in a 900 unit not a 600 so perhaps he has learnt something from this?
