We were staying at a local camp site and saw Nelsons was very close by, we had a great chippy tea from here.
The chips were perfectly cooked and the fish was a decent size. My Hubbie had the kebab in a pitta and he said it was the best kebab he has ever had!!
would be happy to have food here again

The BEST fish and chips I have ever eaten. Piping hot, juicy fish, the batter was so crip all the way to the last mouthful. Chips were perfect.

My go to Fish and chips shop. It’s so good, it’s always on my agenda as a treat when I drive up to the Midlands from my home in London.

Consistently great quality and great friendly service from all the staff.

Update Visiting after a few months and same quality and same friendly staff. Eating al fresco in the park on a warm spring day - unbeatable 😀

Was just passing by, a very friendly young chap greeted me. Very short queue. No wait on the regular chips (£3.20) which were worth every penny - crispy, and fluffy on the inside. Nice mix of large chips and smaller ones which get a bit crunchier (and are my favourite).

Next time I'll try the fish.
