I am so so glad I found Evie for my wedding dress alterations! I asked her to help me in getting my dress to fit me better, by bringing the bodice in some, and the hem up so that I could walk better in it. At my fitting appointment, she made the whole thing seem super easy and before it had even been done I could see that it was going to be perfect; which it was! It fit like a glove.

I also asked if she could sew a bustle and create some custom sleeves for me, and honestly, I could not have been more thrilled with what she created! I got so many compliments on my sleeves (which were beautiful- they just finished the whole outfit off perfectly!) and my bustle held all evening. I'd heard stories of them breaking easily, but there was no way that was going anywhere at all!

Last minute, I asked if she could sew an embroidered note from my late mum into the hem, which she did a perfect job of. I told her that I hadn't seen the note myself and didn't want to read it until the day of my wedding, so she came up with the idea of tacking a piece of fabric over it, that I could trim off on the morning of my wedding, which I am so grateful to her for.

Evie is a mega talented seamstress, not to mention just a genuinely lovely human being! If you're looking for someone for wedding alterations, Evie is absolutely your gal!!

From the moment she said in an email, 'we change the dress to your body, not change your body to fit a dress' I knew Evie was the seamstress for me!

I bought my wedding dress online but it turned out to be a little too small. Evie gave suggestions whilst listening to everything I said and the result was amazing.

I was really nervous about getting my dress fitted as I am a little body conscious and was worried about what the process would be like. I needn't have worried. Evie is a warm, wonderful, kind and supportive person who makes you instantly feel at ease.

I felt supported by her every step of the way and she checked in regularly. She retained the integrity of the dress through small but thoughtful detailing keeping what I loved about it but making it better for me. I was so comfortable on my wedding day and have her to thank.

Her studio is gorgeous and intimate and it's a very special experience to have a dress fitted by her.

Evie was absolutely fantastic - she was prompt with her correspondence via email and was happy to give me approximate quotes before committing to anything. We had a meeting before the fitting to go through what she could do with my dress and answer any of my questions. She was really professional and friendly, and was able to alter my wedding dress how I wanted it, detailing the process and giving options as to how to approach the changes to bring the vision of my dress to life. Evie is amazing and lovely. I brought a dress which was a size too big, she reassured me the alterations would be no issue for her and she explained to me what she would do and how to take it apart.
