Visited this branch with my family few months ago and I just thought to leave a review.
Lovely atmosphere and we were seated immediately.
The lad that served us was particularly friendly… we were visiting Basildon so he recommended nice places we could check out and films we could watch.
The place was very clean and our meal came in good time.
10s across board! 👏

This particular branch was outstanding! The customer service was great. I am really impressed. From the person who was letting people in, she was very supportive and found a table for us, the waitress who was taking orders supported me with my NHS card as I couldn't find it.
We changed something after ordering and they were really good changing it back.

The food was good as always. The guy who served me was very pleasant and made conversation. The only downside to my experience was the young girl in a blue top with tattoos on her arm. The restaurant was quiet, and she was leaning against the side and was constantly on her phone in full view of all customers. I would say this does not give a very good impression. I would think staff shouldn't have their phones out all the time, even managers ( if she was one) .

As a native South African I have a basis of comparison. The chicken livers (starter portion) was delicious but could do with a little more sauce. Nonetheless the food was delicious. The peri peri burger was fantastic and the Nando’s chips are great.

Never been before so was really pleased with the food as it was delicious and chicken was perfect as you'd expect. Staff was pleasant etc however i do feel table service is a must in a place like this and not having to scan a barcode or walk up to the counter to order and pay for food. Other than that, nice place.

Food is ok in Nando’s but always feels overpriced to me for what you actually get, a fast food chicken burger. The place was busy and the staff were OK, but the place seemed like it needed a really good clean and a little bit of TLC.

A decent meal from the famous chicken chain. The staff were friendly, clearing tables and whacking out the food like nobodys business. I went on a sunday evening and was seated straight away; no queing. They have seating outside which is great on a sunny day and they also opened up the windows to let more air in. Great atmosphere, clean and didnt have to wait ages for food. We were checked on half way through which was ace and really appreciated. The only downside was the continued push to 'sell up' which kept interrupting my order; not a biggy as we still enjoyed out time here. Standard cheeky nandosness and would recommend. Does get fairly packed in peak times though so do expect quite a wait.
