Honestly, if I had to go through the process again, I wouldn't bother using the service.

The info was inaccurate/outdated for several of the organisations I had to contact.. so in the end I pretty much went through and called or emailed them all myself anyway, just to double check how I could initiate my name change; which saved me postage in a few cases.

I did also email NameSwitch for advice initially but never got a reply. So ...

Good idea. But honestly, it didn't save me any time whatsoever. And I never used any of the pre-prepped letters from the pack.

Absolutely brilliant service. I could have done this on my own, of course we all could but why would you when this done for you service is available, without it I would have taken months (and months and months!). It actually felt daunting. Until I discovered Name Switch. It is worth paying for this service. The instructions are excellent, easy to refer to, make the process less overwhelming. Sharon an advisor was superb, patient and she explained various options and questions that kept coming up for me with no issues.

After wanting to change my surname to my step fathers name so that my first born a name was the Same and trying to research and trying to find out information on how to change my name and not really getting the answers to move forward, I found nameswitch and I can not believe how simple it was, everything is so simple, explained and the process is very easy with so many packages to choose from it covers everything you would ever need, from the simple steps to the check list and to the aftercare afterwards, I put a witness on my deed poll that was not accepted by companies, but as soon as I realised and emailed to get this sorted , I have a answer the same day and my issues were sorted!, from beginning to end the process has taken so much stress off me, especially being a guy who works full time this stop having to stress all day every day trying to sort this!
