Fabulous little gem of a place. Post office. Petrol station and all groceries you would need. Lottery also available. Friendly family run business, they're lovely people

The petrol and diesel prices are notably higher than BP (just around the corner) and despite it being post-pandemic, to use your card in the store (say, if you just want to buy a £1 drink) the store has a minimum spend of £5, instead of having no charge (as in Tesco) or the usual £2-2.50 charge. I found it a hassle searching through my bag for some coinage, as I've been using plastic for years, and the woman at the checkout didn't seem particularly compassionate about the fact that it took me a solid minute to find some coins.

Whether you want to pick up some supplies, some petrol, or both, you'd be better travelling the extra distance to the BP garage.
