Headline | not much taste, Quite Dry, Marmite and reasonably priced for Sunny Hunny

I'm not a massive fan. A lot of people rave about it, but it's not my cup of tea. Portions are okay but not much taste and are quite dry. The owner is somewhat exsentric. It's not unhygienic or unfriendly it's just not for me. I feel it's like Marmite 👍 Price Point is reasonable and expected for Hunstanton. I feel moss bakery is more reasonable and tasty.

I was actually left truly shell shocked from place. All the cakes look amazing and really well priced. Had a pasty and the bloke even gave me a free one! Was one of the nicest pastries I’ve had, 100x better than GR*GGS. Even though it was hotter than a Satans underpants. Really well priced, we went back to bring some back for the family. The owner is a good lad as well

The best bakery ever! Super sized delicious cakes and great value and the best service from the friendliest man alive! I got a Chealsea bun and my sister did too and a Bread and butter pudding! It took me 3 attempts to eat my bun, it was so big....and yum!

Mr Bun is a great baker producing high quality pastries and breads. A very friendly atmosphere welcomes you as you enter the shop accompanied by the best smells imaginable.
The price is right and the taste is amazing, I love to see the traditional high street shops and ties one doesn't let you down.

Fantastic old school bakery in centre of Hunstanton serving those cakes you remember from your childhood. Plus prices are great and portions are large. I went for an Eccles cake and my wife chose a custard tart. The chap who served came from the same part of the world as us and so we had a good old chat. Short term parking in the town for 45 minutes is free. Highly recommended.

Found Mr Bun while looking around town, we brought a wonderful really huge Belgian Bun and a Rocky Road Chocolate cake as well as some Hot Cross Buns, they were all so delicious that we'll be heading back for more. Really recommend going here for your fresh cakes and bread!

Amazing old worldy bakers where everything is baked in the shop .
It smells divine fresh pastry and bread , you have to wait a little while but it is worth the wait, the buns and cakes are massive sizes and taste delicious.
The man serving was lovely, chatty and humerous and gave everyone free samples of fresh baked bath bread which is soft bun like bread with sultanas, lemon peel and lemon curd and one portion would feed 4 people easily.
The Norfolk pasties were divine and Eccles cakes delicious.
We are so glad we've found this gem of a shop in Hunstanton and will be back .
Thanks so much its so refreshing to get home baked cakes and bread that is generous in portion sizes and scummy tasting at a bargain price .

2 gents in the bakery today were very friendly, kids loved the iced finger and the very large Belgian bun is delicious! Also the smells in the bakery are very nostalgic love going in this shop
