Right from the second go, each and every staff member was phenomenal. Approachable, friendly and nothing ever too much to ask. The vibe is brilliant, with fantastic music, a brilliant bar that we opted for instead of going out and some games available. The breakfast buffet was the best we have ever had at a hotel. Loads of continental and cooked choices at your connivence. The room was beautifully decked out with some fantastic quirky decor. The bathroom was fabulous, with additional amenities that smelt brilliant. Also, they hwd towels that were perfect for plus-size peoples such as myself! The hairdryer was of a great quality and was much more powerful than most! Our only tint niggle was the heating. Understandably, they want to keep the hotel as warm as possible in winter. However, not being able to cool it down at all meant we struggled to sleep for both of the nights we were there. Overall, we will definitely be coming back and thoroughly loved our time at the moxy Chester.

Was pretty great value with included Chester zoo tickets. The place seemed a bit disorganised as room wasn't ready after 3pm so they allocated us another room. The bathroom and room in general had a really unpleasant smell of stagnant water which stuck to all of our belongings for days. On mentioning this I was told someone would look into it and having emailed management I have had no response at all. Despite great value I'd prefer a sanitary room.

Stayed with my friend at the Moxy Chester for a fun night out.
The hotel is beautiful, spacious, modern and extremely clean.
The team on arrival were friendly, engaging and super energetic- which was nice! You also had a complimentary cocktail on arrival 🥂

The bedrooms were clean, extremely contemporary and spacious with all amenities you need for a nights stay.

After our night out, they also have an evening menu, and tuck shop style corner where you can get snack such as chocolate, crisps and drinks (this was well needed).

Overall, my experience was fantastic, which is why I chose to return for another stay for my next conferences. The room was spotlessly clean, and the ambiance throughout the hotel was wonderful - especially in the lounge, which offered a perfect place to relax. The staff were mostly friendly and attentive, making the stay comfortable.

The only area for improvement is breakfast. I missed having mushrooms, fried/poached eggs, and grilled tomatoes, which are often expected options. Adding a few extra choices would really enhance the morning experience.

Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with great potential, and I look forward to seeing it become even better with these small adjustments.

Everything about this hotel is spot on. Clean, comfortable, spacious & safe. Great value parking either in the hotel or next door at Waitrose. Lovely 8 minute stroll into the town centre. Staff really friendly but not intrusive. Room, linen and towels ultra clean. Food Lovely and range of cocktails

The staff were awesome. Possibly the best staff I’ve ever encountered in any hotel. Farhan was very helpful and service with a smile is very welcome great job Moxy Team. Rooms were clean, parking was excellent and convenient …highly recommended A+++

We stayed as a family in a family room (2 adults and 1 child). We also go zoo tickets included. We only stayed for 1 night so cannot speak about housekeeping. The staff are super friendly.||The room size is surprisingly good and modern, with a sofa bed and a queen size bed and plenty of storage space. The breakfast is reasonably good with some continental and English breakfast and pastries. Not a great selection of breads but it's ok. There seems to be food and drink available most hours which is a great Moxy benefit.||Despite other reviews, there is parking but you do need to pay for parking!||There are some minor niggles, the lift to floor 1 is confusing as not both lifts go there. Also there was a bit of loud music from somewhere during the night. The aircon is a bit sluggish. It's not a luxury hotel (moxy isn't) but is way better than most chains - highly recommend.
