Main reason I went here was to ride on the West Somerset railway, which I thoroughly enjoyed, played in the arcade on the sea front afterwards. Would come again.

Great experience travelling along the longest heritage line in the country. Great cafe at the station serving pasties and cream teas. Really friendly staff along the complete railway. All stations well presented and all see to have tea rooms and other interesting exhibits. Well worth getting off the train a few times to get the full railway experience. Unusual to see the GWR HST on the line today.

great old train station. walking down the platform was like walking into times gone by. the smell of stream trains. engineers working on big oily machinery. the station is so clean. theres toilets. a book store. a cafe and sit down area. wheel chair friendly and if your lucky a big old steam train will pull up. ticket office for the trains. a train turn table. well worth a look if your there.

Lovely station with an old world feel, immaculately kept, I felt I could have spent hours there just watching the trains being shunted around, it really took me back to my childhood with the smell of coal and the noise of the steam whistles, superb!

Minehead Station is a brilliant looking place which offers views of various trains from history from steam to modern. I've never used the train here nor been in any of the amenities it provides but it was nice to look around!
