What a find!

On my way out of the area to go to my next call and out of the blue a huge "costa express" sign caught my eye. PERFECT! a pit stop for lunch!

Lovely little co op. Lots available despite the size of the store. Friendly staff and ample parking. I think the locals are very lucky to have this well stocked little (large!) shop 🙂

On Saturday 2nd November I popped in to the Co Op in Winchcombe and having selected a few breakfast items went to the till. I was 20p short! I asked for an item to be returned and was so pleasantly surprised when the very polite young lady said that she would add the 20p from her own money! What a really lovely gesture! Thanking you Tracey! Exceptional kindness. I then went to speak with a supervisor named Jack and told him how happy I was! He was very polite too! The store was immaculate. My thanks to Tracey and Jack and to the manager of this store who clearly has the highest of standards. I love the Co Op and I love the team at Winchcombe! thank you.

It's a Co-op store of no particular excellence.

I do note however that on both our visits the staff have closed the main tills right as we arrive to use them and advised us to go around the corner to the newsagents area to checkout there, despite us having arms full of produce. Not a particularly helpful way to interact with customers, this isn't a newsagents so I'm perplexed why they have these separate checkout areas and not utilising the standard checkout for a supermarket.

There is a nice little parking area out front which is great and the area is nice and tidy on the whole.

They have recently upgraded the store with self checkouts making popping in for a meal deal much faster. If you have a coop card there's some good prices available, meal deal only £3.50.

This is a really great co-op with an excellent range of interesting products. There's plenty of free parking and an easily accessible entrance. The aisles are quite wide for a smaller store. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service.
Although there are no self-service counters, they are due for a reshuffle for these to be added.
A superb place to shop.

Massive coop, very convenient with a big car park. Some local produce which is nice to see, perhaps the largest alcohol selection I've ever seen in a coop!
