Our favourite place. Had lunch today and as per food was excellent, staff as always were above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. Service is always great too. It was really busy at midday but food was with us in about 5 minutes. The kitchen staff do an amazing job too. Alway fresh very well presented, hot and tasty. Can never resist the cakes either.

Highly recommended! - Excellent cafe, come her quite often with each other and with our family. Very dog friendly which is a big plus. Lovely little gift shop at the front, although quite expensive, they have a lot of attractive things for a range of people.

Very pretty eatery and always busy due to popularity. The decoration inside is stunning and very calming, always a good buzz of chatter from people so a really nice overall experience. Clean and tidy at all times we have been.

INCREDIBLY friendly staff, always happy to have a chat, very polite, very helpful and quick to attend to needs. Service is excellent and one of the main attraction points of the cafe for us.

Excellent quality food. The menu as changed quite a few times and has been reduced over the time we have been going and they don't always serve certain foods. Understandable due to increased difficulty with the number of customers but would be good to be able to have a bit more selection sometimes as the quality of what is served has always been excellent so we would be keen to have more of this available!

Clearly signposted, lots of parking and easy to get to on foot if you live locally or by car if not. Set back from the main road so no disturbance or noise at all and very asthically pleasing views from inside. Epsom Downs Station is around 12 minute walk away.

Cost: £ - ££££

£££ - Not the cheapest eatery around but you do get the overall experience you are paying for with their standard of food, service and venue itself. Definitely a quality for price paid cafe and well worth the money spent.

Visited here for the first time today. Greeted by a free mulled wine and mince pie by a lovely lady. Snow machine at the entrance which the kids loved. Glasshouse cafe was beautiful. The food was lovely and came out very quickly. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. If you want to have a browse at their lavender scented products and food in a beautiful environment, I would highly recommend.

We ate here for the first time today. Only snacks and soft drinks, so can't really comment on the quality of more substantial food, but the sandwich and cake we had was very nice. Staff very polite and the set up and surroundings are very good. Its a large area to the rear of the main shop, like a converted greenhouse, but it wasn't too hot and it is a warm day and the decor is great. Prices acceptable too... 2 soft drinks (glass bottled cokes), 1 x chunky sandwich and 1 x slice of cake £17. Definitely will be revisiting.

Have only started using the cafe here recently but needed to sing their praises.
All the staff are exceptionally friendly and genuinely pleased to see you. It makes this place stand out as something unique in the local area.
The ambience in the cafe is excellent, aided by the friendly staff of course.
The cooked breakfast is very very good. Quality ingredients prepared beautifully.
And the icing on the cake today was the wonderful meet and greet we chose to accept from Joey the dog in the main shop.
We will be returning regularly

It's wonderful here. I called in for breakfast and got a lovely welcome at the door from a lady called Carol. I had a bacon roll (delicious) and the coffee was just divine. All of the prices on the menu seemed extremely reasonable including the wine.

The shop had a good selection of high quality gifts again reasonably priced.

When I went to the till I met Carol again and she was just so friendly.

Excellent car park and the toilets were super clean and wonderfully decorated.

A really delightful place. As you enter, the delicate scent of lavender simultaneously lifts and relaxes you! A host of Mayfield Lavender's own products are, of course, for sale but there are many other gifts to be tempted by too...from hand painted glasses and vases, homemade jams and honeys, books and many other items.

Walking through the shop, you find the indoor cafe and that transports you to a beautiful little haven where you can enjoy coffee, lunch, cake and apple juice pressed from the Mayfield Orchard. Absolutely delicious!

The whole place is impeccably clean and inviting and a joy to spend time there. I really can't wait to spread the word and introduce friends to the other side of Mayfield Lavender that stays open all year as we're always so sad when the field season is over!

There are disabled loos and disabled parking.
Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Free tap water available throughout the café.
Staff really friendly and accommodating and fast service. Thank you!
