Me and my partner received excellent service at Master Cars. We went to view a car we had seen online, and James showed us the vehicle and let us test drive it straight away. We went on to purchase the vehicle, having inspected all the correct documents, all of which were available to us. We got a good part-exchange offer on our old vehicle, which was better than any offer we'd had at other garages and online. The car we bought was well looked after, and you could say the same about all the cars on the forecourt. Master Cars live up to their name, you get good value for your money and faultless customer service. Thanks again.

So I've owned my van now for the best part of a year and feel I can leave a review.

Overall I'm very satisfied with my choice to deal with Master Cars. Trade vehicles are a minefield but it was very helpful to see one with all necessary documentation and which had been thoroughly checked.

Tim is a lovely chap and was a pleasure with which to deal.

Owning the van has been very smooth. Its driven beautifully and hasn't given me any headaches. It's not perfect - biting point is occasionally a bit grindy, and slightly off-centre steering means the van veers a little to the left - but compared to some horror stories out there my ownership experience has been pure bliss.

So yes, I'd thoroughly recommend Master Cars as an honest, reliable and friendly business.

Purchased a car from this garage a year ago, within a couple of days of having the car the problems started to show. I was left having to fork out towards a new gear box (even though I was on warranty), the battery completely died and I broke down so I needed a new battery, I needed a whole new suspension either side on the front of the car, I was actually told that there surprised I got around in it so well and it was extremely dangerous and hanging on by a thread (baring in mind this garage knew I had just had a baby!)
They completely lied to me, they just want your money. This car has so many serious faults which I ended up paying so much for, however I fixed all it's faults with the help of other decent dealerships garages and mechanics it took me a whole year. I have now sold it on knowing it's 100% fixed and safe no thanks to this awful garage.

Your very pleasant to the face when selling a car, after you couldn't care. What a shame! I wouldn't recommend this garage.

Positive is they sell lovely cars but....make sure the car has been valeted before accepting it. Make sure all accessories are in the car especially chargers. I have had 2 cars off this firm and both had the Tesla charger missing and was given a cheap alternative. Wonder where the proper one went!
One car had 2 bald tyres which were replaced but the car was sold to me in an illegal state.
After sales is a positive nightmare and luckily when a buying a Tesla you know it will be a great car.
Advice. Double check the car has all accessories with it, has been valeted and doesn’t contain previous owners belongings! Make sure you get a proper receipt too as getting one was difficult.
In summary, if you want a great car you will get one here but if you want to feel like a valued customer try somewhere where the customer matter.

I bought a car from here proximally 3 months ago sold the car had been thoroughly checked MOT'd and serviced. When I test drove the car it was veering to one side. I was told that the car would have the wheel balancing done. When I picked up the car the next day, I found the steering wheel still juddering, and when I took it to to a local garage I found that as well as the brakes being within 50 miles of totally worn out there are left front wheel was buckled and and the handbrake was loose and the drivers seatbelt wasn't retracting. This has cost me hundreds, I would strongly advise NOT buying a car here, or if you do, having YOUR OWN MECHANIC check the car before buying!! PS the RAC warranty doesn't cover any of these problems.

Having just bought a car from Mastercars Hitchin I must say that it was a very pleasant experience! The salesman I dealt with (Lewis) was informative and helpful throughout the process, from test drive to closing the deal he was informative and professional.

With no high pressure selling and no rush to close I even enjoyed spending my money with them!

I will happily go again the next time I need to buy a used car.

I had been keeping my eye on this particular car for a couple of weeks. I decided to find out some more info so went on the website. Arranged a chat with Tim and took it out for a test drive on the Thursday and she was mine by the Saturday. Fantastic customer service, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish and dealt with by James. Car was immaculately presented as all there cars seem to be and all paperwork in order. The RAC inspection and preparation highlighted all items checked and work carried out . Not the cheapest car I could have purchased but certainly the best . Peace of mind from first pulling on to the forecourt to several months happy driving so thanks Master Cars.
