Travelled down from Scotland last week to see Mercedes Slk. Wasn’t disappointed car was in show room condition what is quite rare for it age and came with very impressive service history. I bought a Mercedes SL 350 from here in July 2023. I found the sales guy quite aggressive and argumentative but put up with it as the car was the right colour and looked OK. On the way home it started to rain and the roof leaked over the passenger seat. I was quite shocked but after getting home did some research to find the rubber seals needed expensive Mercedes silicone oil rubbed on them as they were all dry. I didn't want to go back, it was a long way and I felt the sales guy would just argue. The next thing I noticed was every time it rained water would leak into either side of the boot. This was solved by buying a new lower rear window seal and fitting it. The old one had unglued itself from the metal frame. Masons would have known about this even from washing the car. Next I noticed the backlights to the speedometer and rev counter were flickering intermittently. It would sometimes go for days without doing it. This was solved by buying a new consumer battery in the boot - a glass mat one as the existing one was lead acid which was wrong and 7 years old. All these things happened within weeks of buying the car. My feeling is these people are just interested in making money and they skimp on stuff a decent company would ensure was fixed before selling it. I will never buy from them again or recommend them to others. I realise some time has gone by since I bought my car and although I wanted to write a review after buying it they didn't allow reviews on Autotrader at that time. This purchase still annoys me and I noticed I can review them now on Autotrader and here so having said my piece it won't annoy me so much any more.

Great cars of quality. Bought SL350. Staff very polite and experienced in all cars. No pressurised selling. Fell in love with the car straight away. Had a test drive and price agreed on my part exchange. Paperwork and pick up of car quick and easy the next day. Car was serviced and valeted to high std.
keep up the great service would buy from here again and recommend anyone buying a high end car from here.

I recently bought a stunning low mileage F-type convertible from Masons. Contact from Gerard and Zak was first class throughout. Without having seen the car other than the advert, I travelled from the North of Scotland with my own car, having already agreed terms of trade-in. A bit of a leap of faith on both accounts. But the F-type was as described. Although an issue developed with the car on my return home, Gerard ensured it was taken care of resulting in a successful conclusion. Having had so many cars over the years, I have not received such post point of sale attention previously. Based on my experience, I would thoroughly recommend Masons.

I bought a Jaguar F Type from Mason's and the whole experience was very professional with a good test drive and Zak, James & Gerrard were able to answer all my questions first time. The car was serviced and MOT'd before I collected it and it was spotless.
We had a small issue with a sensor about a month after buying the car and this was resolved without question within 2 days (which included ordering the new part). This to me is the sign of a good company; stuff happens, it is how it is sorted out that really counts.

I could not be happier with my experience when purchasing a car from Masons, from first contact to request a viewing the following day, I was advised that due to the very high interest in the vehicle I should contact Garth prior to making any travel arrangements to ensure the vehicle was still available, fortunately for me, when I called on Friday morning the viewing was confirmed and I made the 2 hour journey to Hitchin. The car was exactly as advertised and following a close inspection and test drive I decided to buy it. I feel myself to have been very lucky to have been the first to view the vehicle because had I not followed Garth’s advice with regard to making contact prior to travelling, I would probably have missed out on a great car.
