Recent re-opening of traditional hostelry just 4 miles from Stratford on Avon. We found it a clean and professionally staffed establishment, good food and well stocked bar. Tea & coffee facility in room, plentiful parking and unaffected by outside traffic noise, Tv, good storage and well-serviced en-suite, comfortable bed. Very good value for money.

Stopped by for lunch after a long walk in beautiful Mary Arden village - Wilmcote. Pub was very cosy and welcoming, staff really friendly, all reasonably priced. Steak and Stilton ciabatta was lovely but ploughman’s lunch was a big disappointment. It was two blocks of cheese and a baguette with a pickled onion. (Bit of salad and chutney too). It was a basic cheeseboard. Where was the ham, pork pie, apple, celery? Pudding was lovely though and just £3.95!

Friendly locals and staff. Garden. Dog-friendly. Parking. |Very limited menu: only sandwiches, with chips/salad/lasagna (were told it will be expanding soon).|Did not allow Blue Light discount, which Greene King pubs should, despite querying it with manager.

I would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the Mary Arden inn the rooms where clean and towels changed daily, only one problem they didn’t offer hot food only continental breakfast luckily our friends just lived road the corner and we had breakfast there. The bar was busy and people friendly and it had a lovely open fire I would differently stay there again .

Beautiful Location, however if you are wanting a nice country pub/inn, with a good selection of ales/drinks, and good food.
Don't bother going here.
We were informed by the barman that they don't do food anymore.
And as regarding drinks, it's got to be a poor do, when you get your first pint, and it's warm, you get a second (after struggling to drink the first) hoping it'll be better, and it's warmer.
The second pint was a different one to the first, and it ended up in the bushes outside.
Needless to say, we shall not be returning.
Food - non existent
Drinks - very poor
Atmosphere - poor.
State of the establishment - needs picking up before it's permanently closed.
A real shame, as it's a stunning location, and the pub is the only one left.

Good little find this pub. The rooms are a decent size and clean. Staff couldn't be more helpful. |The pub itself is well used by locals, it doesn't do food in the daytime or evening at the moment but you can order in. They do offer a continental breakfast.||Good selection of garden tables as well.
