It was my first time visiting M&S since they moved to their new location at Lakeside. The store has not changed much except for being larger. However, their dining area is significantly more modern and cleaner. My previous visit left me disappointed due to a lack of cleanliness, which I now understand might have been because they were preparing for the relocation. This time, the dining area impressed me with its modern design and cleanliness. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. It was pricey for what they offered. The avocado on toast was tasteless, sour, and served in very small portions. When you dine out, you expect the food to be visually appealing as well as satisfying. While M&S maintains its reputation in many areas, it's clear that serving food isn't their main priority.Overall, although M&S remains a reliable brand, their food service still leaves much to be desired. I hope they focus more on improving their menu to match the quality of their new, stylish dining area.

A great new store, we visited restaurant ordering is via the automated screen and delivered to your table. I am sure that this is the way Mark's are going. The food hall is excellent, you should find everything you need.

I think that the other areas still need to find their way. It is difficult to find the area you need, all a bit chaotic and needs to be clearly defined. For menswear I think they still have some way to go.

An area so that you could see online only ranges would help drive business.

Our first visit to the new M&S store. Our main reason was to visit the Food outlet. Wow! what a store, the best we've visited by far. Not enough superlatives to describe the incredible range of products. We also enjoyed the M&S Cafe. Quality & service as you would expect. Lakeside team - give yourselves a round of applause.

New big store, we laid out with plenty of room to walk around.
Prices still good for basic clothes.
Do not like self service tills, only one person on tills Friday 3 pm not good as queue formed of 5 couples and SS tills empty, this says a lot of the SS tills.
No occasional chairs in store for me (OAP / Disabled) to sit on whilst wife spent our pension money.

Lovely and helpful staff in a rather busy bustling M&S. Great quality as with all their stores. Clean and well laid out.
There's also a good sized food hall

Prefer it to the old Lakeside M&S. Great food shopping, use the pay guns for a swift exit at the tills. One complaint is the tagging of the high priced meat in the food area, as you have to get out all the tagged items at the till. Remember to set these items to the side of your trolley to speed up at the checkouts

Great value and quality food as usual.
Very busy and felt like the store needed more staff to clear the ques.
But overall good variety of choice and they have a cafe in the main store
