The storage space is clean, secure & is a pleasure to visit. There is never an issue with access. The added bonus is the use of the van, its a game changer when trying to move!

I'm refurbishing my 3 bed cottage and needed to clear out as much "stuff" as possible. I donated quite a lot to local charities and took even more for recycling - the clutter you build up eh? I took a 35 sq ft (3.25 sq m) space at Horsham and also borrowed the free van to move in. The van was larger than I expected (to say the least!) so was easily big enough for the household contents I was planning to initially store - see pic below. I'm told I can "downsize" to a smaller space but I may decide to use the existing space to store a few more things (I'd bring by car as I live locally) once I've taken stock of my "now much more empty" property. I have a keypad code and was given my own padlock and key so I can come and go as I please - during opening hours.

I had dropped in to look at the space after I had booked it all up (including use of van) by phone. The "paperwork" on the day was dead easy and I was charged a £250 deposit on the van. I returned the van undamaged within the "half day" free use (topped up with the diesel I had used) and my first month's rent was taken from that deposit (as I had asked) and the balance returned to my card. Subsequent rental and insurance will be by direct debit.

The staff I dealt with (by phone, email or in person) were friendly and helpful and the storage facilities, parking and access are absolutely fine.

I could ping this company 1 star because I had a problem using their web app from my laptop - but I've reported that and I'm sure it will be looked into. So 5* from me!

P.S. Top Tip! You can get so much stuff into a relatively small space if you pack it carefully in stackable plastic or cardboard boxes.

After using for going into our third year, I can honestly say our experience has been first class! Excellent storage facilities, well looked after, with an amazing team who go the extra mile! Our business Best Model Toy auctions has had our storage and workspace at Make Space Storage for nine months now. The facility is always kept clean and orderly. It’s really helpful that the staff will take packages whilst we are not on-site and supervise collections from couriers and at times our clients. Professionally run and courteous staff.
