Had the delight of being served by Beth today who spent some well considered time giving me advice on the welfare of my shrimp. She was thorough and gave great advice, going further and getting a second opinion to make sure my little friends were safe. Couldn’t fault the advice and recommendations - thanks Beth!

Been to this shop a few times and nothing but glowing reviews from me!

I visited this store in July and again this week. Each time, I decided against purchasing new fish after seeing the condition they were in. Many were dead or sick (emaciated, with dead fins, and others with white spots). The store wasn't very busy, so it seems reasonable to expect someone to do regular rounds and check on the fish. It's a shame because this used to be my favorite store. At this point, I can't recommend it.

I hate to leave bad reviews, but I was disappointed. Everything my mum (Pauline) said applies to this review, bad service and fish dead after nearly 24 hours.

The only reason I'm not leaving 1 star like mum is because the selection of fish was great, and I liked the display of fish.

Overall, I don't really recommend getting fish from here. You can if you want, tho but It is not for me or mum

Went in for some cold water fish,my little boy picked two and was told they don’t mix,ended up getting another two,was told I could only have one as the tank was to small(even though they have about 20 fish in there tanks)but they said you need a bigger tank,and had to buy tropical food for fresh water fish anyway gets home done the usual to get them used to the water,next morning there dead,went back was told we need a sample went home got one,was told the PH level was low (strange cause I had went up another pet shop before I went there and guy the water checked and was told it was perfect) nothing to help you just tried to sell me ph testers,only interested in making money nothing else I will never go back again service was shocking

Highly recommend! I purchased my first fish tank for Mother’s Day 2024! I’ve never had a tropical tank before so it’s all new to me! The staff here have been absolutely brilliant! Helping me and advising me! They are friendly, professional and polite especially Paul, Emily and Tony (the owner!)
I have been back numerous times since buying my fish as it’s taken me a while to get my tank perfect but they have done everything the can and still continue to help me get the fish aquarium I want! Highly highly recommend!

Found this place a few weeks ago and since bought a large aquarium (SEABRAY) Fish an lots of equipment which where some of the best prices out there . Fish are strong and healthy and a wide variety. Over the moon with the aquarium and guy from the shop even came and installed it .. friendly knowledgeable and helpful top marks ?

Came here today as my partner is wanting to start cultivating a fish tank from scratch and he was finding it difficult with all the masses of contrasting information online. Could not recommend this place or the staff enough we asked Paul a lot of questions about setting up the tank and keeping the fish and be was extremely knowledgeable, kind and patient. Much appreciated thank you!

i have knocked a star of because of my first visit, i was served by an older assistant, who quite frankly should look for another job if he hates his job that much, he was surly and i felt like i was an inconvenience! i decided to give them a second chance i was served by Paul and my visit was the polar opposite of the previous visit, i was welcomed with a big smile, he was extremely helpful picking out my fish, friendly and gave me some good advice, he is a credit to the business, unlike the older assistant, and Paul has restored my faith in the company
