From the outside, Magpie Antiques looks beautiful: I don’t know how old the building is but it has a really unique entrance with display cabinets of items for sale in a central pillar as shown in the photograph. The interior is just as aesthetically pleasing and on the ground floor, it seems to be mainly for newer items whereas the first floor is for ‘antiques’. However, it is a bit pricey and so even though I enjoyed wandering round the shop, I didn’t feel inspired to purchase anything. Twyford Antiques just up the road is priced more reasonably.

What a lovely emporium in Evesham worthy of a visit it stocks from toys collectors antique to soldiers of various campaigns dolls houses furniture you have to visit to see the repertoire the staff friendly and helpful a family concern - great for Xmas birthday presents closed on Wednesday? But it's like those trinket shops you see on holiday you have to go in but this shop is not tacky there's always something new give it a visit you'll be surprised 👍

Absolutely great! Went there to see if they had any coins or banknotes and they sure did! I had a long chat with the guy there, must have been at least 30 minutes long simply because we were both coin fanatics! Left there with a North Korean Kim il sung note and a Zimbabwe billion note, also he gave me some free coins too! Absolutely outstanding

My favourite shop in Evesham. I used to live in Evesham 1995/2012 and I used to come in here as a child and buy my beanie babies. I used to have a loyalty card buy 10 get one free and remember my 10th and 11th ones from this shop. I’d love to go back again and have an adults view of the store as I bet it’s full of wonderful things a child me didn’t appreciate!

Some very over priced 50p and £2. I was told incorrect information on a £2 coin which was in circulated condition (WW1 Navy) and only released in sets..650k minted and they are asking £14 for it. Cheaper to buy from eBay £4. However it was a lovely shop with some stunning antiques, but coins if you want to sell them then you need to price them competitively. I appreciate that it’s a shop, but £14 for a circulated coin that you can get of eBay for £4

Saw a jigsaw in the window, ideal as a birthday present for my wife's friend. Sadly they did not have it in stock & had to buy that day as were a long way from home. However they have a large selection of jigsaws and another was soon chosen. But - what a shop!! All sorts of stuff in there it's amazing. Too much to even try to list. If we are ever in Evesham again will allow more time to give this place the attention it deserves! It is brilliant!
