You can only take as you find and so I have to say that I have had no problems with this company. I ordered bathroom lighting, which admittedly took 10 days to arrive (hence only four stars and not five) and when it did, was found to be damaged. I rang the company and was politely advised that the required part was out of stock but would be replaced free of charge asap. it arrived today, again after 10 days and so all is well. I therefore have no problems with this company.

Do not use. Took them two weeks to notify me that my order was out of stock and would take another two months to arrive. Chose an alternative product which arrived over a week later - to the wrong address - despite being told it had been posted first class. It arrived a day after the anniversary for which the product was bought. Useless.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS RETAILER.

Ordered an expensive barometer for my father's 70th in the middle of May. Was informed a week later that the item would not be dispatched for 2-3 weeks. Emailed retailer twice to query when I might expect it. Received no reply. Raised an issue through PayPal. Retailer got in touch to offer a replacement item and note that the original item would be another 7-10 days until dispatch as they did not have it and were awaiting a delivery from the manufacturer. I asked for list of options for the proffered replacement. Retailer replied that there were no options.

Advice to retailers:
(1) Don't offer replacements if you aren't willing to provide them;
(2) Don't sell expensive items if you don't even have them to provide when they are purchased.

Needless to say now my father won't be getting his 70th birthday present (this weekend). Thanks Directors of MDG (Peter Reginald Ginger; John Mothersole; John Brian Davison) you bunch of absolute tosspots.

Terrible company to deal with, paid for next day delivery, was then immediately told item wasn’t in stock and would be a few days, I asked for a refund straight away, but was told no refund was available until I sent light back, that hasn’t even been dispatched. No offer of a refund for next day delivery cost!!!!

I feel bad doing this as they was very polite and refunded my money without question but I waited months a lamps to be sent and when I asked how long they replied: a couple more weeks. 4 months later I gave up.

I won’t be using them nor would I recommend anyone

Have now lost money if the company has gone into receivership. Why is it still trading on its website. Rally bad service would not give me a refund after two faulty light fittings had to be returned.
