It's definitely worth the hour long drive to get fish and chips from here, we come here every year as a treat as it's the best around, it's absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Lovely fish, and the chips are lovely too.It is always hot and fresh, and you always get huge portions, at a reasonable price.This is one of my two favourite fish and chips shops in the north west.Even my boyfriend loves the fish and chips from here, it's always his favourite too, and he's really hard to please when it comes to good fish and chips and takeaways.Highly recommend.

Just had Mediterranean chicken kebab and chips, well worth the 15-20min drive from knutsford. Great food, great staff, great atmosphere quick service and easy to pre order. I’ll be back next week 🙂

A very good local chippy!
We are fortunate to have the London Road team delivering good, reasonably priced take aways in our village.
The portions are generous, the oil is clean and things are well fried/ flavoured. The fish is the star but the kebabs are solid.
There may be more prestigious, fancier chippies in the land, but this village chippy won't let you down. No hipster/ food court vibes, just a plain honest chippy.

Excellent Chippy!
We had haddock, small chips and a jumbo battered sausage which at time of review cost £10.90. This was very reasonable because it fed two of us- (one of us has a smaller appetite).
This was the best chip-shop meal we've had for ages. The chips were tasty and a very nice texture, the batter was a good mix of crisp and chewy and the fish was a good size. None of it was too greasy.
Customer service was great efficient, polite and helpful.
Because they have a simpler menu than some places, the food was already prepared and was with us in no time.
It was a quiet time when we went in, but you can order by phone or online and collect.
There is a good amount of parking just outside the shop and there is a convenience store next door if you need any other bits to go with it.

Best chips in Cheshire. We even do a 20 mile round trip as they are so worth it.. can get very busy but that's just shows the quality of the food.
