Excellent repaired 2 of my jackets. A cigarette burn hole & damaged drawstring cord.

Extremely pleased with the repairs couldn’t have asked for a better job to be done, as seen by the pictures you can hardly notice where the initial damage was.

Lovely little shop! I'm not a sewing expert or a knitter but this place does everything. I'm learning from these reviews that they also do alterations and repairs.
I will never forget their fabulous hand-stitched facemasks sold during Covid. We used to always spot other people in the high road wearing a Sew & Sews mask 😊
Now that masks aren't so common, I reckon there would be a market for dog neckerchiefs - and matching ones for owners!

Really lovely shop packed full of crafting supplies. They have lots of things that you won't find in chain crafting shops, including an exceptionally fun collection of buttons! Well worth visiting when you're in the area 🙂

Such a treasure trove!
This shop is like an Aladdin's cave with everything you need for any kind of needlework or crafting.
Owner was knowledgeable and friendly.

I can't praise this shop enough. I had a couple of tapestries my late Mum left me and I asked if they could be made into cushions. The finished products were beautifully done and now I have 2 beautiful cushions to remember my Mum daily. I also had a tapestry I finished made into a cushion. This is such a great little haberdashers on the high street. Threads, buttons, ribbons, beads, knitting, fabrics.... You can pretty much find most of your haberdashery needs here, and at very reasonable prices. The owners (and resident dog) are great - it's a delight to shop there.
