disgusted by this store and one of the female staff members.
I go in regularly to loads of stores with my motorbike helmet on.
I have autism and find going into stores and any interactions to difficult to cope with.
And leaving my motorbike helmet on when I pop into a store to grab a drink on a ride. Is something I do allot and manage with my helmet on.
Blocking all the over stimulating environment. Helps me be able to go into a shop.

But this staff member demanded I remove my helmet in this store as it was frightening people.
( I don't think so sorry )
no one was frightened of a helmet.
Loads of bikers leave them on to pop in stores. I seen them. And in this store to

But I got targeted by this staff member as I have tattoos and my helmet has a smiley face with horns. ( I like to be fun and myself)

this staff member didn't care to the fact I explained my reason for leaving it on.
Making it easier and more comfortable for me to shop with autism.

It was about that she didn't want me wearing it as she didn't like the helmet or the way I looked. Predudice basically...
So how I feel didn't matter. But pretending I was scaring people with a biker helmet ment more than how comfortable I feel. Based on how I look..

Well I am sure you feel big and good about yourself regarding this.must get a good kick out of slamming autistic people.

Thank you for alerting me not to shop here. I don't want to give money to a predudice store.
kind regards

Busy at the tills. Could do with a self service lane to make for a quicker checkout.

This must be the most profitable co-op in history.

More expensive than other inner-city co-ops. I guess they can't be blamed fir taking advantage of the tourist pound.

4 times this year I have been over charged at the till. Today I was asked for £12 for 4 items, whose actual price was £8.

4 times. To me, that's more than a coincidence. There should be laws against this kind of thing happening. Too many people know things are expensive and don't bother to check. You really should check here. 2 of staff were visibly uncomfortable with me checking my receipt by item.

Your local co-op, where you shop to get robbed.

What can I say great shop. Staff are really friendly and take the time to speak to every customer the same. Whether people who live in village or people on holiday. Prices are very good not as cheap as the bigger supermarkets. There is a cash machine outside. Also there is a post office inside this is great from taxing car to collecting pensions etc.Outside there is a carpark free for one hour so it covers all angles.

Nice, compact store. Limited range, but okay for its size. Good parking; 90 minutes maximum stay. Staff friendly and very helpful. No wait at checkout. I liked it and will return.
