We took advantage of an offer and stayed here in January. The hotel and Old Hunstanton are very nice. We were in one of the more modern rooms on the ground floor and were very happy with it. The evening meal and breakfasts were good and atmosphere was nice.

I'd highly recommend coming here even in the winter months as the scenery and local area are lovely.

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Le Strange Arms. Myself, the better half, our 14 year ‘grumpy’ son and our Cockerpoo had room 302 in the boat house outside the hotel. A recently refurbished room by the looks of it and very nicely done. It was cold outside so heating in our room was plentiful and on demand. The very reasonable room rate included a delicious breakfast. We ended up eating both evenings in the Mariner Inn next door. Lovely welcoming staff, many of whom appeared to be dog lovers. Good pub grub and reasonably priced. If there’s one ever so slight negative. Our room had a connecting door to the adjacent room. So we were trying our best to be considerate of any noise coming from our room regards our neighbours. Other than that, we can’t fault the place. We’ll definitely be back 👍

Just back home from a 2 night stay - late November. Great location just set back from the beach and with good views. Very friendly and helpful staff. Storm Bert was all around us which made the welcoming log fire at the hotel more blissful. I was with a coach party of 42 guests on a DBB basis and we were very well looked.|Ps Nice craft centre behind the hotel which is worth a visit.

We held our wedding here for 46 guests, some of whom booked in for either 1 or 2 nights. What an absolute fabulous day and exceptionally well managed by Tanya and her team. Everything went like clockwork and everything from the drinks to the wedding breakfast was superb. The surroundings are beautiful and even the weather played it's part.|I would not hesitate in recommending this super hotel to anyone looking at holding a wedding here. All the guests without exception were very happy with their rooms and we were delighted with the organisation and hard work all the staff led by Tanya put in on the day. Thank you, you made a good day a great one!

We have been guests at the Le Strange Arms Hotel for many years now and it always delivers highly on comfort, good food, cleanliness and the warmest of welcomes with very friendly staff! All that plus its location - which is just the shortest walk from a truly excellent beach - so there's a lot to like. Rooms are en-suite, well appointed, and very comfortable - some with sea views. As well as a restaurant for great breakfasts and evening meals, the hotel has a bar with outdoor terraces and a garden for a lovely drink, lunch or snack. Next door is an owned pub and restaurant called The Mariner which serves popular pub food which we like of an evening. As a hotel guest you can book a place in the Mariner's dedicated restaurant room that overlooks the garden and sea beyond. They have self - catering lodges on the grounds too. The Le Strange Arms hotel is great for a beach stay or as a base to explore the wonderful north Norfolk coastline and countryside or both - which we do and why we'll be returning (:))

Lovely clean spacious room (dog friendly) within the grounds and pub next door, The Ancient Mariner which welcomes dogs and serves up a lovely menu and roaring open fire. Breakfast was in the Hotel and just perfect with a varied choice. All the staff were just so friendly to both us and especially the dogs ! We will definitely be going back.

Lovely traditional Hotel overlooking the beach, the photos don’t lie. My sister and I had a weekend break to relax together and this was perfect. We had a twin room overlooking the sea, and spotlessly clean, and super biscuits👍||The whole place was clean, bright and comfortable with a good atmosphere, with happy staff . Breakfast menu was good and dinner did not disappoint. ||We can recommend this relaxing traditional Hotel, which is well positioned for walks on the beach and close to Town.

Really nice hotel. Sort of old fashioned rooms but I see this as a positive as the modern copy and paste rooms offered by the chain hotels remind me of business trips. The rooms are lovely and clean and spacious and amazingly (puts at least) offered a bath, a rarity and luxury in hotels these days. Receptionist was lovely and super helpful. |My only slight niggle is the parking, it was ample during our visit and don't suspect getting parked in the free of charge car park will ever be an issue, but the parking warden for the public car park challenges you every time you try and park in the hotel car park, it is never an issue once you provide your proof of booking but feels a little like you are crossing an international border for my liking. This is the only reason I didn't give five stars.
