First time visiting. Seems like a lovely place. Great atmosphere, friendly staff. Really like the design and decorations. Bar looked well stocked, could imagine it would be a good place for a beer in the summer.

On this occasion we were here for breakfast. Was nice food. Only reason it wouldn't get 5 stars is the vegetarian options were a bit lacking. The veggy breakfast was rather limited and small. Overall great place.

We went for the Santa Breakfast this morning and it was absolutely wonderful!
Such a thoughtful Santa experience, with really personal touches to each of the children and really good presents!!
The breakfast included for adults and children was delicious and can’t wait for next year!

Went for breakfast earlier this week which was nice. We returned for lunch yesterday and... wow 👏 🤩 The portions were humongous!! And the food was top notch. We've never been anywhere where we haven't been able to finish our meals due to the amount served! I did finish all mine as it was mostly salad, but my son and mother had to ask for takeaway boxes to take half their meals home!! I had the Scampi and Caper salad, I was expecting a little serving of side salad with a few scampi and potatoes on the side.... when it arrived I was really impressed with the amount on the plate and how it was presented 😮 It looked visually exciting and there was alot of scampi. Mum had the monster brunch with an add on of black pudding. Monster is an understatement 😂 And they gave her two rounds of black pudding, they certainly don't skimp on portions!! My son had ham egg and chips and again, absolutely crammed on the large plate and the ham was excellent quality.
When they asked to take the rest home there was no fuss or embarrassment, the server was more than happy to make it possible.
Which brings me to the staff. A really lovely young lady took our order at the counter, she was so friendly, giggly and polite and the young gentleman waiting the tables was a really lovely chap, he was bubbly, polite, energetic, smiley and nothing was too much trouble! To the extent that he made it his mission to valiantly decommission a rogue wasp who was intent on terrorising my mother 😂 Owners take note, give that lad a raise he's a huge asset to your establishment.
The beautiful view of the trees over the lake is an added bonus.
An all round lovely mid day dining experience.
The pictures don't do the food justice, the plates are twice the size of normal household plates and they were full to the rims!!

Another update:- 16/06/2024
This is a fabulous place. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. It gets busy, so booking is recommended. I went here with a friend and my grandaughter. I had rustic burger and chunky chips. Very nice food and coffee, nothing short of the ordinary. The puddings are amazing too.
Update:- Mother's Day. They are understandably fully booked, so I sat outside in the Love Shack and had a coffee. Lovely to hear such happy chatter and laughter whilst the staff were getting the dining area prepared for what I imagine will be a very busy afternoon. I hope they will be thanked and appreciated by the diners.

If you enjoy tasty, hot, delicious food, served with a smile, this is your place. Beautiful setting and a licensed bar with seating outside. I love their delicious ice cream - palm oil free too. Highly recommend this lovely place.

Really enjoyed my first visit.
The food was excellent, arriving promptly after ordering.
I was so hungry and the ultimate roast chicken dinner so appetising I completely forgot to take pictures of the food.
Oh well gives me a reason to go back which I was planning to do anyway.
Excellent venue, great setting, good service and great food.
I am already planning to return.

Had a lovely Christmas meal on 8th December with members of Horam Tennis Club. The food and service were great. Good value and we all had a lovely time.

A lovely, friendly cafe with great, simple food and a bar. A hidden gem in Horam! While eating, you can over- look the pretty fishing lake. Enchanting on Friday and Saturday evenings when they open until 9pm and turn on all the coloured lights.

We had a late breakfast sandwich here. The food was excellent with a generous filling, plenty of sausages in mine and bacon in my husband's. Slight drawback was the lack of space between the tables. We were in motorcycle kit. I would go back though. They are also dog-friendly.
