Thank you to Maria for my lovely stay! This lady is extremely hard working and super professional, she takes very seriously the cleanliness and tidiness of this establishment, the breakfast was simply excellent none of the cold buffet type breakfast here, cooked to order, selection of cereals and yogurts, and then a wonderful full English breakfast served to you, and cooked exactly to your liking, fantastic! This is a traditional old fashioned beautiful Lake District building with charm and a warm feel. My visit was in winter it was almost freezing outside, but the rooms and property was kept wonderfully warm, and the radiators were lovely and warm in my room too. The whole place is kept immaculately clean by Maria (I think this lady is one of the owners maybe) the entrance, hallways, toilet, and breakfast dining area are spotless! Thank you very much for your kindness and help,I forgot to bring a wire to charge my phone, Maria could not of been more helpful in wanting to help me with a replacement wire for my stay, and couldn't have been more helpful! Thank you very much, all the best and kindest regards!

Room was slightly smaller than expected but friendly lady at reception and breakfast was delicious. Late check in and check out was approved also after communicating with her that there were some emergency’s so overall a great experience without any hassle

This was a lovely stay. The management was super nice and helpful, the location is very near the train station, Orrest Head trail, and the center of Windermere. The room itself was cozy and had great views.

We spent one night here but it was the worst experience ever. We were soaked by the heavy rain and wanted to drink some hot water. The arrogant hostess said we used the kettle inappropriately and did not allow us to eat any hot food in the hotel. We were also fined 20 pounds. If I was not in a hurry, I really wanted to call the police and stay away from this hotel.

I recently stayed here for 3 nights in a single ensuite room. For the price, the B&B is fantastic. It's basic but includes everything you need, is clean, and includes a good sized full English breakfast. I will certainly be staying here again.
Next time I'll call them directly to book as the prices are better than online booking and they have more rooms available than their online booking suggests.
Great place, and the staff are also very friendly and up for a good chat.

My partner and me had the best experience in here.
The owners were very nice and kind, giving us the best service possible and also the best advices for having a better experience.
As a photographer and art lover I really loved the rooms and the paintings, even managed to take fantastic pictures.
Also the breakfast was delicious and the bedroom very warm and cozy.
We will definitely come back.

Not fancy but so convenient and clean with a great Full English Breakfast. Andy, is so helpful. They have limited parking but he will juggle cars around so that everyone gets a spot. Andy is likely the reason I gave five stars. The shower was a bit off putting because the temps changed from hotter to cooler and then back. We just needed a room to sleep because otherwise we were off with Mountain Goat Tours which is right across the street. There are lots of restaurant option in the center of town. It was good choice.

Linens smelled really bad. I didn’t get a single minute of sleep the entire night.
Hostess is not very welcoming, which is understandable - seems like a single person is managing this place with maybe 10 rooms. Shower is extremely small and has a door all the way up to the ceiling. If you shower with hot water, it feels suffocating inside.
