Although the Tamar bags are beautifully designed and made with high-quality leather that withstands rain without cracking, the poor zipper quality completely ruins the experience.

I own two Tamar bags, and both have the same issue—the zippers get stuck and won’t move, or they keep opening on their own. What’s the point of a nice bag if you can’t even keep it closed? On top of that, the fabric inside one of the bags ripped.

This happened just over two years after purchase, and when I reached out, they don’t even offer a repair service. For the price, I expected much better durability and customer support.

I purchased the Lundi Rolltop bag in blue last year just before heading aboard on holiday, it arrived quickly and was well packaged to prevent any scratches on the leather during transit.

Overall, I am very impressed with the bag; the quality of the materials particularly the thickness of the waxed canvas makes the bag feel much sturdier and more durable than the similar styles that can be found in the high street retailers. The bag has lots of space and I take it into work or on business day trips as it easily holds my laptop and work essentials.

To top it off the bags are all responsibly sourced and the company has an ethical approach, would recommend and will definitely be purchasing more in the future.

I have owned the tamar backpack for over three years now, I am amazed on how durable it is. It is really refreshing to see how well made it is, as with 'fast fashion' clothing/bags are such poor quality they fall apart so easily. I was first drawn to this backpack in particular because I wanted something small, but that would still look smart (i.e not a typical rucksack) and that would also fit my macbook in (13 in) and notepad/lunch for work etc.

I am pleased to see these guys are doing well, as they seemed to have added a lot of new styles...I think the thames or tyne will be next on my list. They also plant a tree for every 25 units that they sell and use recyclable materials in all their packaging. How cool is that? In today's war on single use packaging, I think that is a really strong message to send from a company.

I am really delighted with my waxed canvas backpack. The materials are high quality and it is thoughtfully designed and beautifully made. It is comfortable to carry, even when heavily laden, and has a good range of compartments and pockets so that I can find everything easily. Great communication, seller is very responsive. I have received many compliments on my backpack, from men and women. Super-fast shipping and well packed. Highly recommend!

I have two bags, one hold-all and one backpack, they are spacious comfortable and very versatile. I contacted customer support for a simple question and they were amazing and so quick and helpful. Not only is there nothing to fault I will strongly recommend them.

Their bags are very nice and good quality. They honor the lifetime guarantee as well, which you don't see much these days. I bought the grey canvas backpack and have been using it for years at work. I've received so many compliments. I would highly recommend this company and their bags!

Really great customer service. My order came really quickly, but I received the wrong colour bag, and when I contacted Kovered about it, they responded the next day and arranged for a replacement. They’ve allowed me to keep the other bag too, which is very generous. Thanks Kovered!

Quality of the product is terrible, the zip broke after two months, and the customer care I got (from the founder!!!), was instructions on how to try and remove the zip and replace it. Completely ignoring the fact the faulty zip has damaged the bag itself. "Strong, Durable and Sustainable"......three words I would not use to describe their products.
