This place is a gem! A proper independent bakery serving breads, pastries, doughnuts, cakes and coffees. It was so good we came back two days in a row to get our fix. The highlights are the doughnuts and the cinnamon buns. Looking forward to coming back and trying more stuff !

Fabulous selection of bread baked on the premises. Also lovely cakes and sandwiches. Coffee available to take out. This is a bakers shop not a cafe but take some lovely treats the short stroll away to the beach. Superb.

Excellent "artisan" bakery. Very popular which tells it's own story. Get there early.
April 2025: Be aware, shop temporarily closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Had two fab trips to Knead Bakery this weekend, we sampled the cheese straws, cinnamon bun, the coffee, Bakewell tart, cappuccino cake, banana cake and the quiche! All were absolutely delicious and the ladies servicing us were so friendly! Highly recommend!

Croque Monsieur Knead
Had one of these takeaway and ovened up at home. Delicious cheese and ham toastie with a smidgen of mustard. At Knead’s sunny sitting out area we really enjoyed a pain au chocolate and a hot cross bun, with latte and English breakfast tea. Great to see East Wittering thriving with new places like this.

After a lovely walk along the beach between West&East Wittering, Knead Bakery was a heavenly spot to eat the best cinnamon buns and cruffins we have ever had!! This bakery is amazing and a must visit if in the area.

Great local bakery. Wonderful selection of breads and cakes. Staff are always happy , helpful and knowledgeable. Produce is always fresh , flavourful and high quality. Premise is lovely and clean. Although just off the high street there is normally a parking space.
