Called in order for a family of eight, food was cooked while we waited, staff were very friendly and worked quickly cooking ours and others orders.
Got home, and everyone enjoyed their meal. Fish & chips and sausage in batter and chips all pipping hot and delicious.

Best fish & chips I have had for a very long time.

Past this place Friday evening and saw a big queue so figured it must be good. Nope.
The queue was because of the awfully slow service. 4 people on and between them they were only able to take 1 order at a time, slowly fulfil this then move to the next customer. 4 staff......
Food was very average with an expensive cod that was average tasting and coated in soggy batter (and no I didn't have vinegar which might have contributed).
To top it all it's cash only. Proper let down and won't be returning.

Always great fresh cooked food . You may have to wait a short while for them to cook your order . Its piping hot which is great as I have to drive 3 miles each way to fetch it. Best around , and I've tried most of them in this area.

Came back here on my way back from a job this evening as the lights were on. Delighted to see it’s the same owners from when I used to come here as a school student over 20 years ago and the food is just as awesome as I remember it 😍
Cracking 1/2lb cheeseburger and a battered mars bar for desert. Absolutely delicious 🤤
Oh and an added bonus, it’s absolutely immaculate inside, I’d challenge anyone to find a cleaner takeaway place!
