Thought I'd try this instead of a big chain coffee shop. Both people serving couldn't have appeared more bored and uninterested. Our toasties were cooked 1 after the other despite having 2 grills together so I waited for my partner to get his. Food was good but you can only have what's in the fridge. You can't order off the menu. Not the best and wouldn't go again. Just personal preference.

£11 for 2 drinks and a h&c toastie - very reasonable 👌 everything very clean, including the loo. Staff pleasant and friendly. Nice cool haven on a hot June day. Will eat here again next time we're in Epping 😃 highly recommend.

I use Ongar and Epping as much as I can, great coffee nice selection of food, brilliant Baristas and a lovely warm welcome. Nice personal touches and great change from the corporate chains. We should all support local businesses

Most unhappy as I took my well behaved small dog every day to the Loughton one and after three weeks was told no more dogs as it’s a new policy. Therefore I and others like me need to take our business elsewhere where we are welcomed!! Your response that you have children at the rear of your shop and some are scared of dogs (all of which are on leads or on owners lap) is strange. Now most coffee/lunch shops in Loughton allow and welcome dogs.

Honestly can’t recommend this coffee shop enough! I get a coffee daily from whatever store I’m closest to. Lovely friendly staff and as an ex barista there isn’t a better quality coffee in Essex

Food was fresh and the smoked salmon bagel was delicious. Staff were very friendly and other customers were giving their praises to the staff.
Very clean cafe and toilet.
Recommend a visit.

By far the worst coffee shop in Epping, large vanilla latte is half full cup of coffee with half foam milk, forgot to put vanilla syrup in and lids don’t fit the cups so coffee leaks when drinking. They also stamp the coffee cup so you get ink over your hands too and the coffee itself was terrible and ended up throwing in the bin
