Having my wedding dress altered at Kate’s Alterations is one of the best wedding decisions I made. My dress fits me beautifully and Kate went above and beyond to ensure everything is just perfect for our special day. She even made a bespoke length veil for me because I couldn’t find the right length anywhere else. I would 100% recommend Kate and her business. Thank you Kate for everything!

Kate is brilliant - understood exactly what I wanted altered on my dress, gave suggestions when needed, and even did a (very!) last minute final alteration when I changed my mind on the neckline.

I ended up with a dress that fitted me perfectly and I was really comfortable in on the day.

Her work is of the highest quality, and she’s a lovely lady as well! Thoroughly recommend.

I can’t recommend enough Kate and her great skills! I had to have my wedding dress altered last minute, as my wedding is very soon, Kate did not only fit me in her busy schedule but made the dress look like it was never altered. Loved the experience, stress free and very quick! Thank you, Kate!

Kate is phenomenal and is passionate about her work, her vision for the dress and the alterations she made were outstanding. She pays close attention to detail and would make suggestions for tweaks I hadn't even thought of that made the dress even better. Kate is an absolutely marvellous seamstress! I took my bridesmaid dress in to be altered for my brothers wedding; very pleasant to speak with, incredibly efficient (was able to pick up within a week) and very fair pricing!

Kate did the most amazing job on my wedding dress. I would highly recommend her!

I bought a dress that was 2 sizes too big and you would have no idea that it had even been altered. It fit absolutely perfectly and looked so great. Kate was able to take it in 2 sizes, add detachable straps and a bustle (allowing me to hook the train up in the evening).

I felt amazing in the dress and I can’t thank Kate enough for what a great job she did on it - especially given how non stop busy she has been since restrictions on weddings have lifted! I took the dress to her 3 months before (which is quite short notice) and had a couple of fittings with her. She is super kind, patient and professional and the cost of the alterations were reasonable.

Kate is wonderful !

Not only is she an incredibly talented seamstress, she is just lovely.

Kate did an amazing job of my dress alterations for my March 2024 wedding. Her experience shines and is an absolute no brainer for any bride to be - get yourself booked in asap!

When we first met I explained I loved my dress but the belt (a satin ribbon) did not tie in with the overall style. Kate suggested she make me a new belt from the offcuts, and the result was incredible! I felt I finally had the perfect dress I had dreamed of, which wouldn’t have been possible without Kate.

We also discussed the options for bustling my dress which I initially didn’t want to have done as I felt it can ruin the look. But Kate was able to make a bustle that was undetectable, and I was very grateful for not having to think about my dress or risk tripping people up on the dance floor.

Cannot recommend Kate enough, she is an incredible seamstress and her advice was always spot on.
