Terrible experience with JLM Auto Services. Took my car in to be fixed, along with having new headlights put in. On booking the car in there was little information given, they wanted me to tell them the fault before they had plugged into diagnostics. Took the car in yesterday morning at 9am and collected today at 10am that’s over 24 hours for the work to be completed. However only have half a job done, no headlights were replaced even though they were given the part to do it. Spoke with the woman in reception to find out why who essentially told me it wasn’t her problem Spoke with what I presume was a mechanic who told me that he didn’t know they needed doing and when he did know it was late and he started another job, then from there forgot about them. No apologies given just ignorance! The trip was also set back to zero when collecting the car, when questioned why I was given the answer “I don’t know” Terrible customer service, rude staff and would not recommend to anyone!

As I’m response to your reply.

Originally the car was booked in for the ABS sensor and wheel bearing (I believe you are the people that generally diagnose, not me!) yes on arrival we asked if it was possible to have the headlights changed. To which the lady in reception said this would be done. Having received a call at 5pm to say the car was done, we asked if you had managed to change the headlights to which the response was “I don’t know but will make sure it’s done in the morning if not”. Now forgive me but that suggests it would have been done before the car was collected? In regard to my “abusive verbal behaviour ” I hardly think that telling the truth and asking questions relates to that! I am disgusted in your response, however this is to be expected as it would appear to never take ownership given the other negative reviews and feedback. Im not sure if you understand what an apology is, but I can assure you one was not received, instead shrugged off as your staff forgot!
The lady in reception was not willing to help at all! When I asked questions her response was “I don’t know” she said she would go away find out answers and never returned!
I believe my review to be a honest and true account of how I found your services.
With better customer service it would help you improve!
