Wouldn't sell your scrap here. Bloke does you over, won't grade correctly or tell you what price your getting per kilo. Rushes the weighing etc so you can't verify. Just a £ total you have to take his word for. Told me a bag of euro cylinders were steel and not brass? Try somewhere more transparent and reputable.

Stock nearly everything you would expect to find in a traditional ironmongers. Step back in time. Good quality items, Very friendly too. Sure you will buy more than you go in for. Please take cash with you. No card payment facility.

This is one of those rare things these days, a local hardware store selling everything from mops to candle holders. They do large bags of kindling for 4.50, fifty p cheaper than the little bag of sticks they sell at the supermarket. Worth visiting just for that......(if you need kindling)
