IN'n'OUT Autocentres, A Life Saver on a Scorcher

Today started out as one of the hottest days of the year, and just when I thought I could cool down, my air conditioning decided to let me down. I soon realised the sweltering heat would soon become unbearable without it. That’s when I turned to Google for help and stumbled upon IN’n’OUT Autocentres, conveniently located just five minutes away.

From the moment I called, I was met with friendly and professional service. The technician on the other end of the line was quick to understand my dilemma and encouraged me to bring my car in right away. This immediate response was greatly appreciated, especially in the sweltering heat.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I felt reassured that my car was in good hands. After a short wait, I was informed that my air conditioning just needed a re-gas. And to my relief, the entire process took only 45 minutes! It’s rare to find such efficient service, especially on a busy day.

I wanted this to be a good place because it’s so local and they do loads of little jobs that would be ideal to drop by and get sorted but unfortunately not. I booked in for wheel alignment only to find out I’d been double booked. Took the afternoon off work to be able to get to this place because I start too early to drop the van off in the morning (which is not their fault but just added to the annoyance). The mechanic said he would manage to do both cars within the hour I’d been provided when I booked, but he didn’t, I didn’t want him to rush both mine and the other customers car so I requested a refund and left. The mechanics had no rush or confidence around them at all, they didn’t even have the right tools to complete the customers car before me, I’m really glad they didn’t get chance to touch my car.

One of the mechanics was revving the exhaust of one car which had an exhaust on it, the car had done a cold start as I could hear the revs higher when they turned it on.. wouldn’t rev my car on a cold start but this person was taking it near redline

Took my car for an MOT. Akeel and the team were great in sorting this quickly and carrying out the repairs for a very reasonable price. I will be using again for a service in a few months, can’t recommend the team and Akeel enough.

MUST READ!!!!!Under no circumstances should you use this garage. My partners car went in for a normal service and when we picked it up the same day it now had an engine warning light on (spanner symbol). We took the car back to the garage who could not find a fault. They said they took it to other garages to see if they could find the fault. However, this process took approximately 3 months without my partner getting her car back from the original service. We had been told lies about the car and eventually we told them to bring the unfixed car back to our home…..unbelievably they delivered it to an incorrect address. Anyhow, we got the car back and we took it to Evan’s Hallshaws who found the fault within a few hours. During the original service they had over filled the car with oil causing engine damage. Cost £800. Despite numerous phone calls and customer service have not responded.
